It's obvious from the clip below that the President was making a perfectly innocent joke about First Lady Michelle Obama's push-ups and that the crowd misinterpreted or chose to misinterpret it. But now the media is actually asking if Obama meant to tell a dirty joke about his own wife in front of a large crowd and who knows how many cameras:
You can see from the look on the President's face that once he realizes how the crowd interpreted what he said that's he's both horrified and angry -- as well he should be.
Looking for nothing more than link bait, rather than correctly interpret or dismiss what happened here, the media runs with headlines like: "Did President Obama Just Make A Blowjob Joke?"
In those rare moments when the media chooses to attack Obama, I don't normally assume the position of defending him, but this is grossly unfair. Furthermore it's degrading to the First Lady of the United States, which I find especially appalling.
Reporting the crowd's reaction is perfectly fair game, but wondering aloud if the President meant it, is way over the line.

I watched the video. Obama is clearly making a joke about Michelle cheating in push-ups. Initially he looks pleased when the crowd laughs at his very lame joke. Then the *ass-h*les in the audience start hooting and hollering and he looks confused. Then he starts stammering through the rest of his speech because his mind is still focused on figuring out what just happened, or he is embarassed by how it sounded.
I could easily see myself making the same mistake, minus the teleprompter.
First of all, to hang around with Ellen Degenerate and then brag about it, shows that these low life punks are just in it for the free vacations, golf outings, celebrity associations, and the freebees . . . grifters, I guess you'd call them . . . but disgusting grifters.

If he didn’t want that reaction why would he say it? Why would he even bring up Mooch doing pushups? I think after he was crassly toying around, he realized he stepped in it big time when he got that huge reaction from the audience.

I personally think he’s worried about what Michelle is going to say the next time she gets him alone on the second floor of the White House — out of range of the Secret Service.

I do know that when I first saw a report on this story --on an MSM site-- Obama was described by the MSM reporter as pausing "naughtily."
Clearly, at least that MSM reporter believed that Obama meant to convey the double meaning.
Now that I've seen the clip, I'm not sure. But I do know that an "LGBT" audience is primed to interpret everything sexually.
Would such an audience frown on an off-color joke about any president's wife? No, they would think such a joke would be hip and cool.

The title is absolutely wrong. He was talking about what ELLEN, an open lesbian, was saying. When Ellen said that Michelle didn’t go all the way down it was interpreted by the crowd as meaning Michelle did not perform oral sex on Ellen. The term BJ does not apply to female on female behavior of this type. A better to tile would be more accurate if it referenced a carpet or a rug.

Nolte left out the part that made the joke perfect and useful for the occasion, it was a homosexual/lesbian fundraiser.

I think you are right. He knew that was going too far, and was unexpected.
When I first heard the story I believed it purposeful, but at the time I didn’t realize Michelle had had an actual pushup contest with Ellen.
When you do a push up, you don’t go all the way down, otherwise you would be collapsing your chest on the floor. Therefore it was a stupid joke and he knew it. He was angry because he thought everyone was laughing at him.
The media will never stop protecting this jerk, even if they look stupid.
This is exactly what happens when the Presidency of the United States is degraded by a narcissistic media whore who will do anything to get his face in front of a camera. Obama is reaping what he has sown.

He knew exactly what he was saying as he was playing to his audience.
The frustration Michelle will experience is indescribable. She KNOWS Obama was alluding to her method, or lack thereof, in the performance of a certain sex act. She can't prove it, though, because he'll cop that famous and nauseating ‘innocent/surprised’ look he's so good at and swear it was merely a playful jab at her push-up technique. What's she supposed to do? Demonstrate that she can go all the way down?
So yes, she's scary. But don't discount the role Obama has played in turning her crank. She'd be no fun to live w, but I guarantee he'd be even less.

Yes, I think he expected mild laughter, but from the nature and length of the laughter began to realize that something was wrong. At that point he may have realized what the problem was, and was disconcerted a bit.

It was an LGBTQ audience. He degraded the office by going and he and his wife deserve what they’re getting. Hope it was worth the $$$ they rake in for it.

This tells me that, assuming he knew the joke ahead of time, that this guy is a clueless fool for not realizing how the joke was going to go .. down.
IMHO the frown was just an attempt at plausible deniability. Obama has never deservered the Office of POTUS, which include the duties of Head of State. He doesn’t represent our nation in any sort of a dignified way. This “incident” is just another example of why he merits removal from office this November.

To those who think Obama just didn't know...then why does it fit his pattern to a T? Don't you remember when he gave both McCain and Palin the middle finger? Back then some said he didn't really mean it—as if extending the middle finger full length at just the moment when you say is someone’s name [that you despise] is a normal, every day practice.
I also recall people arguing that he didn't really call Palin a pig. Let me tell you something. Malignant Narcissists LIVE to trick people into not realizing they've been made fools of. Few things are more crucial to a MN than ‘proving’ he is smarter than everyone else. One of the all time favorite methods for doing this is exactly what you see Obama do: i.e.: giving someone the Finger while innocently claiming he never did. Calling someone a pig and then sitting back and laughing his butt off when his leagues of defenders claim he didn't do it. Making a shameful sexual joke about his own wife, and then giggling himself half to death when his faithful troops rush out to swear it never happened.
This is what Malignant Narcissists do. It is, as I said, what they LIVE to do. You cannot envision the pleasure and satisfaction Obama gets when his loyal defenders claim, w sincere, straight faces, that he never did this to Michelle. It means he once again ‘got away w it’. When he gets away w it, it makes him feel like the smartest man alive. W all the negative polling, the loss in WI, and other bad signs for his reelection, Obama has never needed to feel superior as much as he does right now.
And he succeeded. He stuck the knife to his own wife, and then had the vast amusement/gratification of watching his mindless supporters exonerate him.

Fooling people is what gives Malignant Narcissists great, almost indescribable pleasure. Be glad you’ve never known a MN. On the one hand, it leaves you wide open to falling for their oldest and most predictable tricks; on the other, it spares you all the misery of having to get to know what a MN is all about the hard way.
Obama may very well be a malignant narcissist (I do have the impression that he has a big ego and does many things that are harmful to others and to the country), but unless he’s a much better actor than I believe him to be, he’s not being malicious in that video.
MNs are some of the best actors who ever walked the face of the earth. I’m on my way out the door, but when I get back I will (plan to) relate a true story that highlights the acting chops of a MN I knew up close and personal.
