Excellent Julie. I can’t believe a rat conceded with less than 30% of the vote in. Over at DU and in union halls across WI they are still in denial.

Big ole waste of union money!!

This is my take on the Wanggaard race:

Only heavily GOP precincts from Racine County have reported (including a few from outside Wanggaard’s SD). All of next-door Kenosha has reported, though, and Barrett carried it 51-49. In 2010, Walker carried Kenosha by 51-48 but won Racine (which is just south of Milwaukee County, where he was County Executive) by 56-43. If Racine outperforms Kenosha by the same margin as in 2010, then Walker will carry it by around 54-45 this time. This would include some GOP precincts that are outside Wanggaard’s SD, but it still would give Walker a 53-46 or so victory in Wanggaard’s SD. Wanggaard appears to be doing as well as Walker so far (in a limited sample), so I think he’ll hold on, which will make me very happy indeed.

Thanks for the analysis, this one IS a nailbiter.

“STATE SENATE, DISTRICT 21
Van Wanggaard (R): 17852
John Lehman (D): 15748
47% of wards reporting”

Lehman is closing fast and I’d hate for the unions to get anything, anything.

Not a single poll anytime recent showed Barrett winning and one yesterday showed Walker up 10 which looks like the final margin.

They deluded themselves. Keep living in fairyland democrats!!!

“How are the others who were recalled doing?”

Republicans have won three of the four recalled races, the fourth is undecided due to slow a slow vote count, but the Republican is ahead in that race, as well.

The final margin will be more like 6% (53-47). There’s still quite a bit of Milwaukee out.

Milwaukee should sink into the lake.

Or your idea to join it with Chicago in a new rat state. ;d

But first, the western (Republican) parts of Kenosha and Racine Counties should secede from their respective counties and form a new county, Republican parts of Milwaukee County can join Waukesha County, GOP parts of Cook County and Lake County, IL can join DuPage or McHenry or something, and the Republican southern portion of Lake County, IN can join the county to its south. That way, only the heavily Dem parts of Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties from WI, Lake and Cook Counties from IL and Lake County from IN can form the über-Democrat State of Chicawaukee. : )

“RE :”They deluded themselves. Keep living in fairyland democrats!!!””

“The past few nights MSNBC led their viewers to think that Walker would lose and the tide had turned. Those that bought it must be crushed, but they sounded convincing.”

They’ve tried 3 times now in WI: the judge, the senators and the governor/lt. governor and lost EVERY TIME.

F**king morons.

Bad news, in the last Wisconsin state Senate race, the Democrat has pulled slightly ahead.
