The many tea party groups here are all active...and in several different activities. Get out the vote, purge the voter lists and local candidate support are the issues I am aware of. They are all planning events and going to local Board Meetings more than ever before.

Had to check out MSNBC - should have seen the whining going on. The coverage pretty much consists of complaining about the Supreme Court having created a situation in which elections could be “bought.” This declaration followed up by a comparison of what Scott Walker backers spent (including a loud emphasis on “Koch brothers”). They are having a stroke - fun to watch for just a short period before it became totally irritating and I had to change back to Fox!

As a NJ resident I think this is great; the Dems didn’t even try to recall Christie (he demolished the unions, but is immensely popular because of it).
I agree that money talks but, in this case, people chose sides and stuck to them based on the merits of the case. This is one of those rare elections where most voters KNEW the issues and voted based on them and not on baseless ads and foolish attempts at distracting from the real issues.

On checking the news sites, there isn’t much either, but based on the fact that it seems Walker took Racine, my guess is that it is going our way. Fox is discussing the fact that no one could have seen the “blow out” that is occurring for Scott Walker. I have a feeling this MAY actually end up having national implications if these numbers hold up - let’s just keep our eyes and ears open and our fingers crossed that it ends up being a “sweep!”
