Are you ready for the recall recount?

Democrats in Wisconsin are already preparing the ground for a recount if the race is close. Politico: "We're very much anticipating that there's a chance that we could be in a recount scenario," said Mike Tate, chairman of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. He said the party will have more than 440 lawyers in the field on Tuesday "doing election protection activities but also tasked with recount preparation, making sure that we know where absentee ballots are at, making sure that we have a strong handle on what's happening out there." The deeply polarized Badger State also has fresh experience with an excruciatingly close race. JoAnne Kloppenburg requested a recount last spring after losing a Wisconsin State Supreme Court race to incumbent David Prosser by less than 0.5 percent. The recount had Prosser leading by about 7,004 votes in that race, which was seen as an early referendum on Walker's efforts to curb collective bargaining rights. Kloppenburg penned an op-ed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in the wake of the recount, saying the scrutiny uncovered "significant and widespread errors and anomalies" in the election process. Naturally, Republicans are keeping mum on the prospect of a recount, preferring not to acknowledge the possibility when Walker leads in the polls. Ben Sparks, a spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin, declined to comment when asked whether the GOP is girding for such a scenario. And Walker told reporters on Monday that he's not thinking about a recount at this point, Wisconsin radio station WTAQ reported. There is going to be a recount. Even if Walker wins by 6-7%, Wisconsin Dems will pay for a recount and then, like Kloppenburg, seek to delegitimize the winner by saying...

I rather wish someone here would start a thread on voter fraud. It has been my observation that all fraud stories involve demorats on the dark side. But perhaps I’m just biased. I really would like to see a factual compilation of polling place abuse, count fraud, ballot mishandling etc. if for no other reason than to raise awareness of the challenge we face in Nov. on a national/swing state scale.

Yes - and I saw something on FR the other day that showed the recall effort against Walker came after he’d been elected but __before__ he took over.

Shocking.

Seems the plan is to recall all elections and to recount all elections - always.

I hope we’re ready to fight back.

Isn’t it rather presumptuous, for Democrats to talk about re-counts, when we haven’t even held the election yet?

Shouldn’t we have the election, count the votes, and see what the results are? How can anyone really talk about a recount, when we don’t know if a recount will even be necessary? If the margin of victory is big enough, there will be no recount.

Since Franken and Minnesota, anyone who doesn't expect an immediate demand for recount on any nationally important election results is a fool.

Democrats have a proven technique to win close elections, by cheating on the recount and by having a state-level justice system filled with corrupt, liberal/activist judges who will support them in their efforts to cheat.

I suspect that Walker and his team are fully prepared for this eventuality . . . as should every Republican running in every close race.

The good news is that Republicans look to win Wis-caaaahn-son be a large enough margin to avoid a recount. However, watch the smaller state senate races that is where much of the real battle will be fought.

Yup. I'm being honest about it. We got our puppy from Wisconsin. I probably could've gotten her an absentee ballot, but didn't. It's too bad, she's probably smarter than most of the 'Rat voters.

Well, I can think of three recounts, off the top of my head.

1. Bush-Gore in Florida. Bush was ahead by about 1900 votes on election night. The final official count, after the Supreme Court halted further recounts, was 537 votes. Gore gained over 1000 votes in that recount. He didn’t win but he gained votes.

2. Ditto the 2004 Washington governor election. Christine Gregoire vs. Dino Rossi. Republican Rossi was ahead on election night, but multiple recounts and new vote totals later, Gregoire was declare the winner by 129 votes.

3. Al Franken and Norm Coleman, 2008 Minnesota Senate election. Coleman was narrowly ahead on election night, by about 700 votes, if I recall correctly. But multiple recounts later, Al Franken pulled ahead, and was declared the winner, by about 225 votes if I recall correctly.

In each of thse high profile cases, the Democrat gained votes when the recount process was under way.

Somebody once said that an election has to have a comfortable margin of victory for a Republican, because otherwise, the Democrats will be able to cheat. I have to believe that.

The commie thugs are basically sending us the message (read between the lines) that ‘resistance is futile’. They intend to win every election from here on in “ala AlGore-style”, no matter what it takes. We need to stomp their stupid leftist @sses back into the spiderholes they crawled out of so that they won’t be confident enough to try this BS for another decade or two.

No need to fear. Eric Holder is in Wisconsin today “to ensure compliance with the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and other federal voting rights statutes.”

The lesson learned is:

Win and win BIG! Big enough so that a re-count is way outside the margin required in a particular jurisdiction, so they don’t even have the chance to cheat...........

My BIL’s father (now deceased) lived in Palm Beach County and was caught red handed attempting to destroy a Bush-Cheney ballot during the 2000 recount. Nothing happened to him except that he was escorted out of the recounting area. He should have been arrested and prosecuted but wasn't.

Was he the only person that did that? Does bullsh*t like what I just described explain how the Rats ALWAYS “gain” votes in recalls? You bet!!!

Do you suppose her AKC papers will do for a birth certificate so she can vote?

The Enemy will want to keep recounting until they have forged sufficient ballots to “win.”

They are the “Enemy,” not “The Loyal Opposition.”

If the margin of victory is big enough, there will be no recount.

Key sentence. The Democrats will try every trick in the book to make it so close, there will HAVE to be a recount - and then the real fraud starts.
