John Holdren, President Barack Obama's Science Czar, has hit upon a new way to accomplish an old goal of his. Holdren, in the 1970s, was an advocate of what he called the "de-development" of the United States, among other things.

Wonder why the last few years are somewhat screwed up?
There are actually two messages here. The first is very
interesting, but the second is absolutely astounding - and explains a lot.

interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International
Health Organization.
Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years
after diagnosis:
U.S. 65%
England 46%
Canada 42%
Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received
treatment within six months:
U.S. 93%

Canada 43%
Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it
within six months:
U.S. 90%

Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within
one month:

Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million

How can the president of a major nation and society, the one
with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk
about business when he’s never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has
never really had one? And when it’s the same for 92% of his senior staff
and closest advisers? They’ve spent most of their time in academia,
government and/or non-profit jobs or as “community organizers.” They should
have been in an employment line.

• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
• The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation's drinking water or in food;
• Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
• People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) "can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility" -- in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
• A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans' lives – using an armed international police force.
Ah, but nuttin’ to see here, right? No reflection on Obama, right? Just move along….or better yet, stay home on Nov 6 as we ALL know Romney is 10 times worst than Dear Leader, right?

Maurice Strong suggested eliminating 3 quarters of the people on the north American continent and forcing the rest of us to live in a couple of tightly controlled mega cities on the plains.

Well, I don’t think that you could call their plan for the US, a resort.
There plan is to implement there Gateway projects, the multi-modal transportation corridors, connecting terminals, ports and free trade zones around the world, moving people and cargo through rural areas, while limiting human incursion into the rural areas of the US.
The idea is to ship out food and raw products and natural resources, to developing countries, who will do the manufacturing, reversing the economics of the world. I suspect that is what Holdren meant by “free market”.
The Gateway coal terminal that the Obama administration and the Democrats are pushing for in WA State is part of this Gateway system.

The plan is working pretty well. Just tour any midwestern city. Empty houses and commercial buildings abound, and plenty of empty lots where other vacant buildings have been torn down.
I think Motown has already de-developed > 40% of the city.
I’m sure Baraq’s advertising will take credit for it.
