George Zimmerman Returns to Sanford, FL [In Police Custody]
George Zimmerman Legal Case ^ | 6/3/12

Posted on 06/03/2012 12:13:43 PM PDT by SoFloFreeper

George Zimmerman has returned to Central Florida, arriving late Saturday evening. On Friday, June 1, the court revoked Mr. Zimmerman's bond, ordering him to return to custody within 48 hours. The defense team has coordinated with the Sanford Police Department to ensure Mr. Zimmerman's security when he turns himself in before today's 2:30 PM deadline.

While out on bond, Mr. Zimmerman has been living in a secure, undisclosed location as there are significant threats against his life.

Mr. Zimmerman's lawyers will request a new bond hearing where they can address the court's concerns regarding the representation of funds available at the time of the original hearing on April 20. The defense team hopes that Mr. Zimmerman's voluntary surrender to Sanford police will help demonstrate to the court that he is not a flight risk. Furthermore, the vast majority of the funds in question are in an independently managed trust, and neither Mr. Zimmerman or his attorneys have direct access to the money.

On May 8, Mr. Zimmerman waived his right to a speedy trial to allow the defense team the time needed to prepare for trial. It is anticipated, though not certain, that the case will not be ready for trial until some time into 2013, and the next bond hearing will determine whether Mr. Zimmerman will wait those many months in jail or not.

The lynch mob against a man defending himself from a thug continues to celebrate. Tomorrow, the Florida media will be cheering Zim's return behind bars.

Do we even hear of authorities going after ANY of those threatening this defendant? Crickets.

I think this time the judge is going to require Zimmerman to testify, personally.

Democrats love a lynch mob. Always have; always will. They practically invented them.

The duke case....over and over and over.

If I were he, I would have packed up my wife and went to the Bahamas. The judge doesn't realize what scared, threatened, innocents do???

And I don't think they had any right to record his phone calls.....innocent until proven guilty!!! Did they have a warrant to do that?

The court had no problem with Zimmerman, they are only frightened of the mob.

That is why they ordered him back, because a mob, a would be lynch mob was threatening the court. It was Court cowardice that brought Mr. Zimmerman back.

If you’re in custody you’re have to be an idiot not to expect that every conversation is recorded.

I feel sorry for that poor man (Zimmerman). If I were him, like you, I'd probably find a way out, Bahamas, Grenada, Indonesia, Thailand, Jordan, Sweden, wherever. This is not justice but mob rule. I weep for my country.

I sent money to his PayPal account. Sorry to hear he doesn’t have access to it.

What world are you in? Zimmerman has the right to remain silent. Even in court. He has no obligation to speak. That's what lawyers are for.

The judge can require him to be present via writ of attachment. Gz doesn’t have to say shit. Defense? He had no access to “gifts”. He was in jail. If they want to make a circus out of this, hold the wife in contempt. This whole thing is crazy talk..

Hispanic voters need to comprehend that THIS what is being done to George Zimmerman is the real democrat policy toward minorities ... manipulate them, use them, make dependents out of them, and kill them off when it is politically empowering. George has been set up and now must be eliminated so the criminal enterprise Just Us department doesn’t lose face. Make no mistake, Hispanics, the orders for what to do to and with George Zimmerman are coming directly to Floriduh from the criminal unJustice Department run by the criminal enterprise democrat party who think they own your vote.

Zimmerman's lawyer would be guilty of malpractice if he failed to demand that his client have his own cell and be locked down 24/7...or be locked down 23 hours a day with one hour in a recreation area *by himself*.

The money thing isn’t much of an argument, but having a second passport and having two passports by reporting one missing will be a huge issue when it comes to flight risk.
