Olympics Spotlights Mitt Romney's Turnaround Skill
Newsmax ^ | Feb 1, 2012 | Ronald Kessler

Mitt Romney often is described as a turnaround artist. No better example of that is how he turned a failure into a success with the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Romney "can see into a situation very quickly," Bullock says. "He's very facile with numbers. He's got that raw intellect which lays a great foundation. And then he's combined that with a very significant layering upon layer of education and business experience that has given him now the base from which he can make pretty sound judgments pretty quickly."

"Mitt is a cheapskate," says Bullock, who is now managing director of Sorenson Capital, a leveraged buyout firm. "He does not tolerate one iota of waste."

Well, accept that Romney banned the Boy Scouts, and oh yea took $600 million from the taxpayers, so he could single handedly turn around the Olympics.
The Olympics were bailed out by the taxpayers.

Did you see what 4 years of Willard got Massachusetts ? Nope, sorry. Willard & Zero are both proven failures. They aren’t fit to be elected dogcatcher.

Only in the mind of people who support liberals.

Bark at the dark, then. I choose to turn the light on. Even if it’s not as bright as I’d like.

It is impossible to reason with people who refuse to acknowledge the fact of Romney’s liberalism.
It wont matter if you show them hundreds of pages of information, they simply dismiss it as your delusion.
Romney is a liberal, he always has been and always will be. Liberalism is his core.

You’re right. Slick Willard will probably kick off the zombie revolution, too.

We need to march to Tampa and stop this once and for all! Lets all go to Tampa and... Wait, what is your brilliant solution?

Light is quite bright where I am. It becomes extinguished when you sell your soul to leftist con-men like Willard & Zero.

Willard would have to move well to the right to become simply liberal. He’s a Socialist to his core. Hates Conservatives and Conservatism with a burning passion. He was raised that way by his leftist parents who wanted to turn the GOP into a second Democrat party (albeit exclusively for left-wing white folks with money) and run out people like Ronald Reagan.

You're not far off, Danny Boy. March to Tampa and let the party establishment know we're not letting this Socialist con-man hijack the party nomination. Who do we replace this abomination with ? The person who is known nationally, has a record of accomplishment which matches the rhetoric, one whom can unite the party and light a fire under the Conservative base going into November. The individual whose attention all eyes are focused on for the next 4-5 days. Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin.

Yeah. Brilliant. I’ll support him if your “Tampa Solution” works. Good luck with that.

Sometimes turning around is a solution past its utility

Why is it when a solution is offered to remove the cancer, you guys sound like you’d rather keep it ? Most peculiar.

Why is it you guys think a pipe dream qualifies as a solution? THAT is peculiar.

What’s your solution ? All I see is you bending over for the big gubmint party establishment, asking, “Thank you, sir. May I have another ?” At least some of us are trying to come up with alternatives.

Oh really fieldmarshaldj. Mass state unemployment declined almost at an equivalent rate of the US. Check it out if you don’t believe me. But what I’d like to know is exactly what you would have done to take on one of the most liberal legislatures in the Union and accomplish more than Romney? Oh, you have no real solutions, just making postings from the comfort of your basement? BTW, no, I’m not in favor of government run HC, but I don’t actually hear SOLUTIONS from you. I’d really like to see your resume vs. Romney. Some thing tells me yours is a bit light. (And in case your curious, I haven’t voted for Romney — I voted for Newt in the primary.)

You don’t have an alternative- you have a protest. MY “solution” is to treat this as what it is- a change in direction. I aim to improve on the gains in this election in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020..... Moving the electorate more conservative in each successive election.

What I WON’T do, is “take my ball and go home” if my preferred candidate doesn’t win. I’ll take the next best and try harder next time.

The winner of this election will actually boil down to whoever has the best hair. It is as simple as that. Look at the last 8 presidential elections and tell me that I am wrong.
