Within five years, all of Europe will melt down.
In the fires of war.
Nothing is likely to head this off.

Plan involves sneaking into Turkey with some really, really long extension cords...Think of the symbolism.
The birthplace of democracy and western civilization unable to provide for itself, stealing power from the Islamic side.

At least their president isn’t intentionally working to shut down their power plants because he doesn’t like the fuel they use.

...except there won’t be any currency to print too much of.
The EU won’t print more euros.
The drachma doesn’t exist, and recreating it is functionally impossible.
There won’t be hyperinflation because there is no currency to inflate.

Greenspan was on cnbc this am.
He said the premise of the euro was that by adopting a single currency all of southern europe would suddenly start acting like germans.
he did not see the euro currency lasting and IMPLIED the EU as a whole had a tenuous future.

Greenspan was not alone in saying the Euro was untenable if it included southern Europe.
...but socialists never look at reality when they make their stupid plans.

The drachma doesnt exist, and recreating it is functionally impossible. If they've got paper and ink they can create whatever they wish.
