Under Obama: 30 Worst Months of Employment Over The Past 25 Years
weekly standard ^ | 5-23-12 | jeffrey anderson

The federal government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes monthly tallies for the employment-population ratio. That stat shows something rather straightforward: Among those who are living in America and are free to pursue employment, what percentage are employed? (The bureau excludes those who are under 16 years old, are active-duty military, or are — in the bureau’s own words — “inmates of institutions (for example, penal and mental facilities, homes for the aged),” from its tallies.)

Over the past quarter of a century (a total of 300 months), dating back to May 1987 and the Reagan administration, here are the 30 worst months (that is, the bottom 10 percent) for the employment-population ratio, along with the president who happened to be in office at that particular time (scroll down to the see the list):

Obama is almost finished fixing America.
You know turning it into a global social democracy that the rest of the world can be proud of.
You know the rest of the world who brought us systimatic mass slaughter and starvation of its citizens by the millions.
The same world that brought us slavery (not an American invention), no rights to trail, no freedoms. The same world who treat women like cattle and brought us sharia law, and forced abortions.
That world will be so proud of the new and improved Socialist America.
To bad many of same useful idiots who have their hands out today will be the ones getting their hands cut off tomarrow.

Yes, but he is clean, well spoken, and has such a nice smile.
Probably should have been a parking lot attendant.

He would be eligle for any job that doesn’t require him to show his birth cirtificate, college records and or US Citizenship.

Well here in Florida he could be a hotel maid, pick fruit, work the sugar cane fields, cut lawns, sell marijuana, and make a fairly decent living with NO PAPERS,

My 84 year old father is a child of the Depression. He is old enough to remember how bad things were at that time. My father has lived a long time, seen a lot of things and still remembers them. I preface my observations with those factoids for a reason. My father says the current US economic and employment situation is the worst he can remember. The WORST.

If a 20,30, or 40-something says the same thing, I would take it with a large grain of salt. When an 84 year old says the same, I stand up and take notice.

Real Unemployment Rate: 22.5%

John Williams: The Real Unemployment Rate: 22%−Not 8.1%

The fact is, we are sitting at Great Depression levels of unemployment, which hovered at one point at 25%.

If it were not for manipulation by the Fed (printing worthless money) and by spending money we don't have an instantly putting it "on the tab" in forms of Trillion and Trillion in debt, people would know we are only buying ourselves time.

This cannot go on.

It will all collapse - not sure when, but it surely will.

When it all does collapse, it is going to be a very, very hard fall.

Interesting; I've had a bit of an intuitive feel that this was the case. In some sense it's good to see that my gut was right... though I could handle being wrong in this instance.

When I was looking for a job a little over a year ago, things were so bad that I thought it was 'nice'/good when I got a hand-signed rejection letter, instead of just a "you are no longer under consideration" e-mail.
This time around it seems as though there's no rejection e-mail either, just a sort of silently dropping you from the lists.

The irksome thing is that I don't believe we've seen the worst of it; the way things are going we will be embroiled in a war shortly, or forever enslaved, due to "our" uncontrolled debt. (It's reaching the point the interest alone will be unpayable by the government, at that point all bets are off.)

The jug eared communist in gloat mode, gloating over how much he and his EPA have hobbled the productive white boy private sector (he likes only for the taxes he parasites from us)   He is carrying out the dreams of his communist drunkard Muslim daddy. Every day he inflicts his painful inner drama on right thinking Americans. BTW same as his hulking manly wife does.

This is the most critical election of our life time IMHO. Even more compelling and critical than Reagan vs Carter.

We simply have to defeat and send packing this

Kenyan Marxist
http://www.jeffhead.com/obama-time.htm

...and all of his abettors and cohorts.

I pray it can be done in such an overwhelming fashion that the very name of Barrack Obama will have completely negative connotations for future generations, like Benedict Arnold, only worse because this man actually became President and was destroying us from the highest position of power.

In the future when someone does something to destroy anything good, or does something that results in massive economic ruin, I hope the term that will be quoted is something like, “He pulled an Obama on us,” or, “You’re nothing but an Obamaa and you need to be fired from this company or removed from whatever position of influence and authority you are in.”

That is what this man richly deserves and I pray it is so.

Perhaps one day we can have a true full-blooded African-American as president who loves this country and does right and good by her. Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, and others are the types of individuals who already fit that bill and would have my vote in an instant.
