Each year, roughly 7,000 blacks are murdered. Ninety-four percent of the time, the murderer is another black person. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, between 1976 and 2011, there were 279,384 black murder victims. Using the 94 percent figure means that 262,621 were murdered by other blacks. Though blacks are 13 percent of the nation's population, they account for more than 50 percent of homicide victims. Nationally, black homicide victimization rate is six times that of whites, and in some cities, it's 22 times that of whites. Coupled with being most of the nation's homicide victims, blacks are most of the victims of violent personal crimes, such as assault and robbery.
The magnitude of this tragic mayhem can be viewed in another light. According to a Tuskegee Institute study, between the years 1882 and 1968, 3,446 blacks were lynched at the hands of whites. Black fatalities during the Korean War (3,075), Vietnam War (7,243) and all wars since 1980 (8,197) come to 18,515, a number that pales in comparison with black loss of life at home. It's a tragic commentary to be able to say that young black males have a greater chance of reaching maturity on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan than on the streets of Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, Newark and other cities.
A much larger issue is how might we interpret the deafening silence about the day-to-day murder in black communities compared with the national uproar over the killing of Trayvon Martin. Such a response by politicians, civil rights organizations and the mainstream news media could easily be interpreted as "blacks killing other blacks is of little concern, but it's unacceptable for a white to kill a black person."
There are a few civil rights leaders with a different vision. When President Barack Obama commented about the Trayvon Martin case, T. Willard Fair, president of the Urban League of Greater Miami, told The Daily Caller that "the outrage should be about us killing each other, about black-on-black crime." He asked rhetorically, "Wouldn't you think to have 41 people shot (in Chicago) between Friday morning and Monday morning would be much more newsworthy and deserve much more outrage?" Former NAACP leader Pastor C.L.
Bryant said the rallies organized by Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson suggest there is an epidemic of "white men killing black young men," adding: "The epidemic is truly black-on-black crime. The greatest danger to the lives of young black men are young black men."
Not only is there silence about black-on-black crime; there's silence and concealment about black racist attacks on whites — for example, the recent attacks on two Virginian-Pilot newspaper reporters set upon and beaten by a mob of young blacks. The story wasn't even covered by their own newspaper. In March, a black mob assaulted, knocked unconscious, disrobed and robbed a white tourist in downtown Baltimore. Black mobs have roamed the streets of Denver, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Cleveland, Washington, Los Angeles and other cities, making unprovoked attacks on whites and running off with their belongings.
Racist attacks have been against not only whites but also Asians. Such attacks include the San Francisco beating death of an 83-year-old Chinese man, the pushing of a 57-year-old woman off a train platform and the knocking of a 59-year-old Chinese man to the ground, which killed him. For years, Asian school students in New York and Philadelphia have been beaten up by their black classmates and called racist epithets — for example, "Hey, Chinese!" and "Yo, dragon ball!" But that kind of bullying, unlike the bullying of homosexuals, goes unreported and unpunished.
Racial demagoguery from the president on down is not in our nation's best interests, plus it's dangerous. As my colleague Thomas Sowell recently put it, "if there is anything worse than a one-sided race war, it is a two-sided race war, especially when one of the races outnumbers the other several times over."

If you look deeper in the stats you will find that nearly half of all murders are committed by young black males. And blacks get upset when they are looked upon with caution and suspicion.

In my youth I was a police office for about 5 years. I came to the conclusion that what makes living tolerable in a Ghetto are drugs or booze. Without them people wouldn’t live like that. The heavy drugs cause people to cheat, steal and kill. The lighter drugs make your life seem okay. I know of no way to solve the problem.
I beg to differ, the average number of black babies aborted in the U.S. each day is 1,876. That's a heck of a lot more than 7000 murders.
The problem is easy to solve. Getting off the sauce and the junk, working hard, not having children out of wedlock and getting educated (and stop blaming Whitey). Blacks now have more opportunities than at any point in American history, federal laws ensuring that, but yet a huge underclass remains stuck and either unable or unwilling to seize them. The sad irony is that the Black community flourished more as a whole when there were more outside obstacles against them and didn’t have those federally-ensured opportunities. They’ve got to get off the plantation that leftism has shackled them to in their own hearts, minds and souls. Until then, nothing will ever change (and those exploitative leftist Black leaders don’t want them to change, as Booker T. Washington brilliantly pointed out more than a century ago).
Conservative parents need to email or print this and get it into the hands of young people. They’re being indoctrinated into the religion of White Guilt and need an alternate perspective.

You can add the FBI-DOJ Uniform Crime Report stats up for those years and get that total - except for Puerto Rico - Every year they seem to be a bit tardy in getting info to the FBI-DOJ in time

As long as 90 + % walk and think in lockstep they will remain in their predetermined life of poverty and death.
ignorance is a big factor. no knowledge to pass down from mother to daughter, nothing from father to son, stupid teachers, drop outs, teen pregnancy, poor prenatal nutrition makes for dumber babies, it’s a viscous circle. There is a way out, but it requires work and responsibility. Apparently nobody wants any part of that.
Please consider "living by the Ten Commandments" to that and I whole heatedly agree.
The would be no need for man's laws and statues if we would live just by those 10.
Stop paying them to do it would be a good start.
The hard cold truth is when we feed people and provide shelter through government we enable that behavior. If they were hungry they’d have to spend time working to feed themselves. Instead we feed them to prey on us.
Both parties KNOW what the problem is but are afraid to admit it. And that is that General Sherman was right. And it’s not racist if it’s true.
That’s my constant question. Even the most well-meaning conservatives don’t go all the way and state the fact that interracial murder is black-on-white by multitudes. Blacks being app 12% of the population commit many many times the murders upon whites that whites commit upon blacks. And the black-on-white rape statistics are even higher. I suppose because there are more of us, at least for the time being, we are considered expendable. Though we certainly aren’t when it’s our money that’s wanted (just ask Sandy Springs Georgia about that).

It isn’t that we’re expendable, it’s that there is so much hatred against whites, period. The left TRULY hates whites, seeing “us” as racist and imperialist-nevermind history. We MUST begin to call out the two faced media, and the racists in our universities. I say, turn Alinsky’s rules against THEM and make them uphold their supposed principles. They want equality? Fine, so do WE.
Well, Walter, at least the good news is, as recently as 1994, the number was more like 12,000/year -- and an equal number of non-blacks.
At that time, 91% of black victims were being murdered by YBM's; and non-black victims fell to these same YBM's about half the time, giving their (then) 1/2 of 12% of the population, credit for something like 75% of ALL murders in the U.S.
At least the numbers are down. And, importantly, out on the table.
More than that percentage, if you roll in the big numbers from the crack "epidemic" ("crack wars" more like it).
The thought that keeps crossing my mind is, if I go up to a black man age 50 or younger, what are the odds I'm speaking with an unjusticed murderer?
Now, that is something to think about. Let's see, average 15,000 murders by YBM's per year, over 40 years ..... that's 600,000 murders. Check my math. Now, 35,000,000 black people, of whom 17,000,000 are male, and of those, about 1/3 in the age-group of interest ...... so we're speaking to about 5,000,000 males, responsible for 600,000 murders, that's about 12%. Twelve percent of all black males in the age range 15-50 are murderers. Does that work out correctly? But we have to reduce that number by the multiples, and there we have to stop -- NO idea what that multiplier should be.

What can we do to help? My heart has been breaking for this lost generation of young black human beings. I feel helpless to make a difference.
I call myself “PastorBooks” on this forum. Books isn’t my last name, it’s my addiction :) I’m called to be a “tentmaking” church planter, funding ministry through business.
I would someday LOVE to teach some young Christian black men how to start their own businesses so they can turn around and teach others. I imagine that is naive.
I’m white. Even if I were to try to teach business to a handful of them, these young men would see me as The “Man”, the oppressor, the “1%”. They wouldn’t see the poverty. They wouldn’t know of the hungry nights. They wouldn’t remember the confusion and tearful prayers. They wouldn’t know THAT I UNDERSTAND. All they would know is that I’m white.
The key to turning this all around, at least economically, is to kindle a wave of entrepreneurship among young black Christian men. Most people would say that is impossible... I say BALONEY! It can be done.
But it will have to come from black businessmen. The youth won’t listen to a white guy. If black men don’t take up the burden of teaching the young men, it is HOPELESS.
The young black man needs to hear from an older black man how to be a Christian, start a business, raise a family, and be a MAN.
America cannot remain a free nation if 1/2 of 12% of the population are against the rest of the country. Crime will rise to a point where the only safe place is behind guarded walls. Racial hatred will fester until it cannot be contained anymore. Eventually laws will be passed to “restore order” and no one here wants to see what those laws would be: Soviet Union here we come.
ForAmerica, I feel for you. And thank you for being here on FR. Now, what can be done? What can make the hearts of the fathers turn to the sons?
Someone please tell me where is the racism when blacks kill other blacks. I don’t see the MAN anywhere in this equation. Because blacks kill other blacks in PG county Maryland which is the richest black suburb in the nation.
