Not a fan of either, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. If "making his voice heard" means holding Romney's feet to the low-tax, lesser-government fire, then some good will come of it.

At the State GOP Convention in Phoenix over the weekend, “making his voice heard” meant “shouting Romney’s son off the stage.” I think the jury is still out on whether that’s a good thing. It’s certainly a classless thing, but Romney’s hands are not clean that way either.
