Florida investigation reveals 180,000 non-citizens may be registered to vote

Florida officials have discovered that 180,000 registered voters may be non-citizens.

A CBS4/Miami Herald analysis of information supplied by Miami-Dade shows a large number of the potential non-citizens voters cast ballots in the past — including the 2000 election, when the presidency was decided by just over 500 votes.

According to Deputy Supervisor of Elections Christina White, there are a “lot of non-citizens on our registration rolls.”

Florida’s Division of Elections is checking the citizenship of voters by comparing drivers license records, which show whether a licensed driver is also a U.S. citizen.

Non-citizens are able to become registered voters in Florida because if a non-citizen checks the box on the voter registration form that says they are a citizen they are registered to vote, because the form is signed under oath.

Those registered who are identified as possible non-citizens are reported to the State Attorney’s office The States Attorney may charge anyone who unlawfully registered to vote with a felony.

According to the Heritage Foundation’s Hans Von Spakovsky, Florida’s investigation is only looking at legal immigrants, not illegal aliens, who may have registered to vote even though they are not citizens. Von Spakovsky, a former member of the Federal Elections Commission, says that Florida is doing the right thing with this investigation, but is only scratching the surface. Florida can’t check for illegal aliens who registered to vote because the Federal government is not giving Florida access to Immigration and Naturalization Service records which would help identify illegals who have registered to vote.

You can watch Bill Hemmer and Hans Von Spakovsky discuss Florida’s investigation of non-citizens illegally voting in the accompanying video here.

Nearly four years after CNN reported on the scandalous ACORN voter fraud, and those fraudulent voter registrations were converted into fraudulent votes, we are still struggling to prevent voter fraud. Instead of working to prevent voter fraud, the Obama regime goes so far as to sue some states that require voters to show a photo ID in order to vote.

Either get this mess straightened up once and for all or kiss this nation goodbye. How these weasels are permitted to get awsy with this murder of a republic escapes me. It should either be stop and desist, or it should be a war to cleanse out the criminals!

this isn't shenanegans, it's treason the kind that should lead to the firing squad!

The right to vote should be beyond reach for those who entered the US illegally. Using dead or non-existant names to steal elections should be a criminal case with top priority and be punishable by death.

We must pack them into reail cars or busses and ship them all back to wence they came.

A reformed policy of some kind is going to go through congress. The pandering to and for the illegal populace is changing the game for all of us.

For many of us our votes are futile as thousands of illegals and dead people will be voting against us. Is this a republic that can allow this type of criminal actions to continue?

The League Of Women Voters is engaged in a criminal conspiracy to violate election laws by conducting voter registration campaigns where it is known there are high percentages of illegals.

Either get this mess straightened up once and for all or kiss this nation goodbye.

When you have a usurper and possible non-citizen in the white hut, we've already bid "Bon Voyage". I expect "officials" to say that they're going to "check into it" or conclude "nothing can be done" and hope that the matter goes away. Dims will drag their feet and delay the process. The public has a very short attention span.

In the year 2000, we had a giant problem with the FLORIDA vote, hanging chads and whatnot. So that was probably a landslide for Bush, but for 8 years the libs said that he stole the election. Looks like they were wrong again.

Scratch a member of the The League Of Women Voters and you will find a Pro-Abortionist (Pro like in professional). Do a search of League of Women Voters and Abortion.
Don’t understand why Pro-Life candidates participate in Debates sponsored by the LWV or give them the time of day.

The only shocking aspect of the story is that a CBS station revealed the fact.

"these weasels are permitted to get away with this murder of a republic"

It seems to me that they are ENABLED and ENCOURAGED by the Democrat Party in furtherance of a seizing of power. ("The Ends justify the Means" etc., etc)
