I agree, but it isn’t unusual on these touchy subjects that people tell a live pollster the PC answer, but then act/vote differently.

Great job and typical of these polls. Only likely voters count and then only when they become actual voters.

This is for certain a calculated move by Obama who was hemorrhaging wealthy homosexual donors who aren’t afraid of a Romney Presidency. He’ll at least be better on their pocketbook.

Contrary to regular polls of whether people in the US are accepting of homo-marriage or not, here is a better poll. And dvwjr analyzed it and it's even more damning when you see the details.

They don’t. Even in California the homo-marriage referendum lost.

I suspect that many in that number (assuming it’s accurate) are also in the “I personally oppose abortion, but what other people do is none of my business” camp.

most of ths corrupt media will try and tell us that most of the younger people accept it and the same for the mostly older people and yet all my kids and friends who have two of their friends sleeping over right now have all said they do not support it and neither do their pals.
the likes of Megyn Kelly and others on FOX will try and tell us that cross dressing and being a queer is normal and they should have marriage equality and yet most of us are waking up that they are nothing but liars including on FOX.

LJ am surprised that even today there are still one or two out there which refuse to think that Kelly on FOX is not pro homo, it really does amaze me.

Hope i can get back to you soon , hopefully I’ll have my own computer soon and not have to one borrow from time to time

I know a gay guy that’s against gay marriage but afraid to admit it. Weird, I know. But he says the gay lifestyle has nothing to do with traditional marriage. At least he’s honest. We got to know each other when people at work were talking about abortion a few years back and I said it was horrible. He backed me up and agreed. We were accused of being the gay guy and woman against women’s rights! I’m glad I don’t work there anymore! He also showed me his Republican registration card. I was kind of shocked. He said he’s not a “gay rights” voter but a fiscal conservative. What can I say? At least it’s one less Obama vote.

just talkin to the misses and she has been reading some threads on here and we’re convinced we have some idiots who seem to see some airhead on Tv, shiny legs and just sit there and drool due to them never having a decent looking woman in their life and while they drool they seem to not grasp what is being said to them

I’m pretty convinced O-Blame-Bush made a big-time mistake. His campaign is in their own echo chamber and they hear from everyone that gay marriage is a winner! It is clear from all the White House gay paraphenalia that this announcement was pending sooner or later. But I don’t believe the 50-50 polls on this issue. Way to many real polls have said no way.

North Carolina must have been a shock this week! Especially since this is where their convention will be. Dems, please decide to move it out of NC. That should be a total logistical nightmare.

And ... with his numbers dropping like a rock, maybe Hillary will take the plunge. Not likely, but possible, especially with Bill encouraging her. (He really, really, wants to be co-president.) She wants to run in 2016, but not after, hopefully a successful Romney admin. Now might look more tempting if they all start to figure he’s totally lost it.

Oh, yes, total democrat disarry. Smells nice.

The 24 percent of Democrats who say they are more likely to vote for 0 were going to vote for him anyway. The 52 percent of Republicans who said they were more likely to vote against 0 were going to vote against him anyway (OK, maybe they are less likely to vote third party).

The 10 percent of Dems OTOH, who are now less likely to vote for 0 is a big deal as are the 23 percent of independents who are now less likely to vote for him.

0 stepped in it again.

Maybe it has something to do with the political pandering and the idea that the guy is a prostitute who will say or do anything to get himself elected.

We're not talking about Romney.

He is either a dumbass or he already concluded that he’ll lose the election and wants to go down in flames making a statement.

He wants to be the new male Oprah on TV after he loses. To do that, he'll need a lot of big-time Hollywood celebrity guests lined up to kick off his show. For that to happen, he needs to pander to the liberal agenda big time, especially when it comes to courting gay support. They'll respect him if he goes down in flames fighting for their cause, but not if he tries to be moderate and loses. One thing I can guarantee, just because Obama loses the election, does not mean it's the last you'll see of him. Far from it. He will continue being the biggest political celebrity in history. And he'll always be able to hold out the fact that he can still try running again for another term if he wants to, and will probably eventually do it and win the nomination. But only if he goes as hard left as possible now and gets the base on his side. Do that, and he can go on being a celebrity and win the nomination again someday. Just look at the Democrat field...they don't have anyone lined up who will be able to appeal to the base as much as Obama. He's got the nomination lined up to run again any time he wants it.

Twas merely a calculated fundraising ploy amidst a well timed Washington post hit piece. A test run if anything. Attention spans are short and they are well aware of that. Doubt any of the duplicitous statement he made will be campaign fodder later on. His forgetting about the scale and scope of the recession should be front and center if Romney’s folks aren’t of the McCain cloth.
