Americans will be "f****d" if Barack Obama gets re-elected ... this according to Beach Boys singer Bruce Johnston.
Bruce was signing autographs for fans in New York yesterday when the conversation turned political.
"Obama's an a**hole, "Johnston says ... adding, "Unless you're interested in never having any money and being socialized."
But Johnston was an equal opportunity disser -- saying, "And who's the Republican a**hole?"
"Our guy isn't any good."
He continued, "You got Reagan and Tip O'Neill ... those are the last two good guys."
"Wait 'til Obama doesnt have to try anymore," Bruce added .. "you're f****d."
“”Wait ‘til Obama doesnt have to try anymore,” Bruce added .. “you’re f**ked.””
Succinct and accurate.

Couldn’t agree more...
He still needs to answer for “I Write the Songs”
Golly, I didn’t know Bruce was so erudite.
Who knew?
For those that are concerned about our country and don’t know how they are going to vote, consider the following. A little mushy but it hits home. After listening, then make a decision who you want as our President. I think it will be quite evident. http://sagebrushpatriot.com/america.htm
Obama’s not a socialist! Look up the definition of socialist in the dictionary!
/been reading too many “mixed” message boards
Tip O’Neill wasn’t a good guy.
Not gonna happen, Cap’n.
I’ll bet he didn’t have Manilow’s version of it in mind when he wrote it. I forgive him.
I call Bruce “The Knife” because his harmonies in California Girls and God Only Knows cut through like crazy, in a good way. He wrote “I write the Songs”.
He also did backing vocals for Pink Floyd on “The Wall”
and to think good thinking men like this used to represent the state of California and the entertainment industry instead of the leftist idiocracy it has become today.
I didn’t know that!
SOMEONE had to say it!
It amuses me that Barry Mantilo sings "I Write the Songs" and he didn't write that one.
Catch a wave, and I’m sittin’ on top of the world
Oh, the humanity.
If he wins the Republican candidacy, I will be happy to vote for him. If not, I’m not throwing my vote away and in effect voting for 0.
Wow- Bad Vibrations
“Catch a wave, and Im sittin on top of the world”
As a soul surfer from the 60s, I never cared for the Beach Boys sound....now I am changing my tune....get it ? Huh? Tune?
Dammitall2hellandback I am one smart feller.
Good for Bruce! Hilarious!
As long as he didn’t write Guess I’m Dumb
Barely Man-enough (who was afwaid of widdle Ewizabef Hasselbeck on the view) didn’t write that song?
Actually, he didn’t, not on the album at least. They recorded a bunch of stuff with some of the Beach Boys and Toni Tenille, so they were credited on the album, but none of that was included on the final cut. They re-recorded it with other backup singers for the final version.

Bruce is getting thousnds (maybe more) of dollars a year off that song. Nice retirement check cortesy Barry Manilow.

I was talking about "The Wall" not "The Final Cut". ;)
Their new song, “that’s Why God Made the Radio,” is exceptional, and sounds just like tho original group.
Always loved the Beach Boys, and Bruce, too — but his resemblance to the Kennedy clan always made me nervous...
I know Bruce, and he’s a smart, genuinely nice guy who speaks his mind ... Obviously! thanks for posting!
Agreed! I think the album is going to be just as good, LS. Comes out in June. So refreshing once in awhile to hear something other than rap and warbling TV talent contest winners!
Bad Vibrations...
Bruce Johnston was absolutely correct!
I’ll bet all the Beach Boys will be voting Republican this fall. They just ain’t saying so as not to ruin this tour or alienate any lib fans. This tour is a retirement fund moneymaker. The only Beach Boy I could see possibly voting Obama would be Brian Wilson. Look at Al Jardine...no way is he an Obama voter. Mike Love? No way!
That one was brought to the Beach Boys by Al Jardine, who was (is?) a folk song junkie.
And that is one thing about the Beach Boys (and other groups, notably the Beatles): the affiliation of very distinct musical personalities that can occasionally produce amazing albums, even though the work is quite stylistically diverse.
And he has some special insight because of his celebrity?
Let's face it if we allow all such people to decide our future, we're DOOMed.

The Beach Boys were one of Ronald Reagan’s favorite groups.
During the Reagan years, they performed at least once at the White House and at least twice at the Washington monument for July 4th. And it could be more if my memory is correct.
I got to see them twice for July 4th on the mall.
If Il Douche wins, they’ll probably be singing “Serfer Girl”.
Yeah, but he also wrote “Disney Girls”.
I never liked the Beachboys, but I agree 100%
Beatles parody of the Beach Boys.
Has anybody noticed that Obama daughters have Russian names. Sasha and Malia?
