Madison, Wisc...] After refining the dataset created by Verify the Recall, a Wisconsin man began running it against other public records and discovered 571 tax delinquents signed Recall petitions.
His findings? The total in back taxes owed by petitioners is more than $17 million. The list of individuals can be found through the website, www.putwisconsinfirst.com The creator of the site told the MacIver News Service, his databases should be considered to be tools and not definitive source documents. The source documents are from the State of Wisconsin and the Verify the Recall effort and can be found through links on the site, all he's done is connected the names and addresses together.
That being said, the site's creator said he had to throw a lot of names out, to be sure his tables are as accurate as possible. Misspelled and nicknames signed on the petitions were removed. That means the actual number of tax delinquents could be three times higher than the 571 listed.
Before Put Wisconsin First began releasing its databases, petition signers initially tried to convince the Government Accountability Board not to release copies of the recall petitions to the public at all. Signers then criticized Put Wisconsin First and Verify the Recall for creating searchable databases of the petitioners' names. Now that Put Wisconsin First is running their names against other public records, they really aren't happy. The site has received plenty of hate mail.
"They had every right to do this (sign the petitions), and I have every right to match them up. They have every right to not like it, and I have every right not to care," the site's creator said.
Put Wisconsin First's database was assembled using refined data from Verify the Recall's effort.
"I took that database and ran every address through the GAB's web site here: http://legis.wisconsin.gov/w3asp/waml/waml.aspx What this does is return a corrected address and a ZIP+4 for all addresses the GAB thinks are 'good'," he explained.
Using VTR's datasets, Put Wisconsin First actually beat them in getting a searchable database up by a couple of days. That was possible because VTR had posted the unsearchable datasets to its website after they had initially uploaded a searchable database.
Put Wisconsin First's creator noticed although the names and addresses still needed to be cleaned up after VTR's first pass, the zip codes, which were simpler to enter, seemed to be usable. From that he was able to create a stopgap searchable database, hoping to buy VTR more time.
Once VTR made multiple additional passes to clean up data entry mistakes on names and addresses, Put Wisconsin First was able to create a more extensive and accurate database of its own.
The site's creator plans to continue running the petitioners against other public records, and releasing his findings. He has chosen to remain anonymous so angry petitioners cannot launch red herring attacks against him, and are forced to focus on his site. So far they've only been able to send him angry emails demanding he stop running his analyses.
"Why do I want everyone to know everything about every recaller? I guess, why wouldn't we want to know who they are, what businesses they run, what things they did in their past," he said. "I didn't make the rules The rules are, we get to see who demanded to stand against Walker, they demanded to be heard. They asked to have their names public. I didn't force anyone to sign a public document!"
People. Glass houses. Stones.
Not a fan of this as a rule but I do recall militant gays attempting to publicize petition signers on Prop 8.

I remember that the very first name my wife verified our honoree was a felon (domestic battery) who owed thousands in back taxes.
“Nobody’s got nothin’ to hide ‘cept for me and my monkey!”
Love it!
BRILLIANT WORK.
This great. Ain’t technology and public information grand? LOL
Another interesting tidbit....
One million signed the recall petition.
650,000 voted in D’rat primary.
Can you say signature fraud?
California Homosexuals led the way on this stuff. The left don’t like their tactics being turned back on them.
Oh, that’s just delicious. Good find.
The right should turn their tactics back on them with much greater frequency. Like this. Or Rush with the slut debacle and what happened with that. And more. Much more. Hit ‘em back and hit ‘em twice as hard.
It is about time the right treats the left to a dose of their Alinsky tactics. I am not in any way condoning violence, but calling them out for what they are is fair game.
Is it just me or have you noticed there are other discrepancies worth checking....like two different document numbers with the same signatures but it looks like one is copied from the other. Very strange. I don’t think that they had anywhere near enough legit signatures for this recall. If someone signs 10 different petitions does that count as ten signatures?? Or if someone in the back office just sits and trys to copy the signatures on different numbered documents...does that count?? I do not think that these signatures are being scrutinized for authenticity at all...
>> California Homosexuals led the way on this stuff. The left dont like their tactics being turned back on them.
Exactly.
Along the same lines of turning ‘rat tactics against them: in those places where the ‘rats publish data on concealed weapon permit holders, I think it would be fun to cross that list with registered Democrat voters, and produce a list of ‘Rats that are NOT able to defend themselves... and leave that list of names and addresses in newspaper racks in the bad part of town. :-)
This is all public information, and all available online anyway from original sources. Signing a petition is signing a public document and nobody was forced against their will to sign a petition. The WI DOJ publishes tax deliquent info online that can be searched.
It’s not like it’s not out there already because it is known to be public info available to the public.
Obviously, they all have a bright future in the Obama administration as tyical Democrat tax cheats. Well...at least up until this November. After that, they’ll just be typical unemployed Democrat tax cheats.
Exactly!
It is disgusting to note how many of the sex offenders are listed for child sex crimes. Libs at their finest.I guess if you support murdering them in the womb it makes it fair game to molest the ones that survive.
Why of course. I’m talking about the Rat stone throwers at Walker. Oops they are in glass houses.
That’s pretty much what it was like before Walker. Even the candidate who won the Dem primary, Barrett, is afraid of stressing union-related issues. He trounced the paid flunky of the unions, Kathleen Falk, by 24%. Barrett knows that Wisconsin tax-payers are well aware of how they were fleeced by the Teachers Union and their stooges in the Wisconsin legislature.
I have spent the last few days in northern Wisconsin, near GB, on business. Drove up here from Iowa, and through the entire trip, even through Madison, I saw NO signs or posters on the road supporting the recall of Gov. Walker. On the other hand, the support signs for him numbered in the hundreds, if not higher.
do I really have to say it???
My wife and I do a lot of cruising on the weekends, and we’ve noticed a far more pro-Walker signs than Dem candidate signs. We’ll see now that Barrett is the nominee if we’ll be seeing a lot of signs supporting him. But the plethora of pro-Walker signs (including the one in our front window) is mighty encouraging.
Wisconsin: Recall petition signers owe $17,000,000 in back taxes
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
It just so happens that the June 5 recall election is projected to cost $17,000,000. And, I’ll bet the candidates and their committees spend more than $17,000,000. Walker will win, and so will the GOP Senators. What a waste of money!
Make sure they take it from the po' unionistas with the patches on their pants from "poverty".
I wonder how many of the recall petition signers have outstanding warrants.
And I wonder how many are included in the public lists of sexual predators.
Well, it doesn’t work that way. We all pay for it.
I wonder how many of the recall petition signers have outstanding warrants.

A lot of them! I’ve seen a list of the sexual predators, but I don’t have a link. The list included their creepy pictures. Ugh!
Sex offenders should be locked up, putting their name on a list isn’t going to protect anyone.
“They had every right to do this (sign the petitions), and I have every right to match them up. They have every right to not like it, and I have every right not to care,”
Now THERE is a person I would LOVE to meet!
One of the things I’ve noticed is that the GOP uses paid people ONLY as supervisors. They pay people with needed skills, but the people manning call centers and doing the heavy lifting are all volunteers.
The Democrats have paid skilled people and paid lower level people. The petition teams generally had one local volunteer (who I knew from politics) and several paid people, who were often from out of state.
During the petition verification process, the GOP had so many volunteers that they had to turn people away and schedule extra hours.
The difference in voter intensity should spell the difference in this election and, I hope, the fall elections.
I have suggested using the recall database as a tool for filtering out who you would consider hiring or letting go. Do you really want to hire or employ a pro-union anti-business worker that could cause trouble for your company?
Drove through SE Wisconsin this afternoon, through parts of Kenosha, Racine, Waukesha and Walworth Counties...I was surprised (pleasantly so) at how many “Recall Walker” yard signs are now GONE! (In contrast, plenty of “Stand With Walker” signs and their ilk out and about!)
I don’t live in Wisconsin but I added Gov. Walker as a friend on Facebook back when he was having all the union trouble. I have been very impressed by how he has communicated the successes that towns have had as a result of his reforms.
LOL!!! They listed sex offenders too — with pictures/mugshots!

... that the MSM can't be bothered with... what, being so busy with Trayvon, or whatever MSM topic de jour.
Please check:
Criminal records
DUI records
Restraining orders
Child support arrears

I didn't know he had his own Institute.
Bye the by, did you not know that we're looked @ as "Breeders" for the militant gays. Just thought you'd like to know.

Which is kind of amazing since every “gay” person, militant or not, comes solely from a long line of “Breeders”.
They don’t seem to have a problem when newspapers publish lists of pistol permit holders.
