Franklin Graham said President Obama has “shaken his fist” at God by announcing his support for same-sex marriage.
On Wednesday, Obama voiced his support for same-sex marriage, saying he was taking a personal position on the issue.
"I have hesitated on gay marriage in part because I thought that civil unions would be sufficient," Obama said in the interview with ABC. He added, "I was sensitive to the fact that for a lot of people the word 'marriage' was something that evokes very powerful traditions, religious beliefs and so forth."
Now, he said, "it is important for me personally to go ahead and affirm that same-sex couples should be able to get married."
Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, issued a statement Thursday about the president’s decision.

Of course I simply don’t care what they think and have no respect for their history, traditions and beliefs.

Obama shook his fist at the American electorate who overwhelmingly reject the notion of homosexual marriage.
It's not even legal for heterosexual couples to come out and demonstrate affection when one or more is serving in the military. It's called Public Display of Affection and is a court martial offense.

On Tuesday my state of North Carolina became the 31st state to approve a constitutional amendment defining marriage as being between a man and a woman. While the move to pass amendments defining marriage is relatively new, the definition of marriage is 8,000 years old and was defined not by man, but by God Himself.In changing his position from that of Senator/candidate Obama, President Obama has, in my view, shaken his fist at the same God who created and defined marriage. It grieves me that our president would now affirm same-sex marriage, though I believe it grieves God even more.
The institution of marriage should not be defined by presidents or polls, governors or the media. The definition was set long ago and changing legislation or policy will never change God's definition. This is a sad day for America. May God help us.
I hope Franklin does not apologize again.

Obama does not believe his maker is the Christian GOD, instead he believes his maker is Allah. Obama has in the past referenced Lincoln but he deceptively ignores that Lincoln in the very famous Gettysburg address referred to a Nation under GOD not under Allah, Buddha, or whatever. I am not so religious but definitely agree with Rev Franklin Graham on this. “Gay marriage” or whatever you want to call this farce is against 5,772 years of Jewish-Christian religion and tradition. It is against 2012 years of Christian religion. It is against thousands of years of our cultural norms. Gays are defying God same as in Sodom and Gomorrah and dragging decent people into the same mess

Again...Jesus commands us to do these things...and the Holy Spirit commands us to do these things through Paul and Peter. But...you are certainly not going to be the last to rationalize your way around doing what God commands in His word. Matter of fact...that's what a whole group of homosexuals do in church every Sunday: Rationalize sin. Instead of reading God's word and saying "well...it says DO THIS and DON'T DO THIS" ...they make loopty loops with it.

Obama is an enigma wrapped up in a political intent of international enablers. I believe his personal history together with his catering to Muslims internationally and here in the USA certainly gives the appearance of some kind of Muslim fellowship which belies any of his, e.g. Pastor Wright, Christian appearances. That Obama would try to impress on the USA populace that Muslims were very much a part of the developing USA is nonsense talk. The Tripoli encounter certainly cannot be construed as part of events showing Muslim influence in the USA. He might well be a Marxist, Progressive as well but I doubt very much he is a humanist.
He no doubt has cultural ties to Islam. But he’s a Muslim in the same way Nancy Pelosi is a Catholic.

So...you suggested to pray...sarcastically...yet the scripture is very specific that this is what Christians should do. I think Hebrews 5: 11-14 fits this situation very well...for this is a very simple concept. It's called: Read the Bible...and do what it says. Not Read the Bible...pick and choose...then attack those who decide to follow all of scripture.
