Gallop had Romney over Obama yesterday. This is going to happen with every poll a another one will come out saying the opposite.

Today’s Gallup shows Romney maintaining his 3 point lead. Registered voters... So if/when they switch to likely voters, it should mirror Rasmussen’s 5 point Romney lead.

Reuters, like ABC, NBC, CNN, etc, is in the bag for Obama.
Rassmussen has Romney leading Obama by 49% to 44%.
I would give as much credence to a Reuters Poll as I would to one of their “news” articles - that is, NONE.
Any Poll showing Obama at or above 45% is flat out lying, or completely bad math.
The guy is looking at a McGovern/Mondale/Carter type disaster, and short of a major political shift between now and election day, he is going to lose, and lose by a margin no sitting president in the modern age has lost by in a 2 person race.

Whats really crazy about this poll is that they polled only 10% indies???? really???? Now I want to know how “picked” those 10%. Looking at the 47% Dems numbers, did they call/poll the indies in the upper west-side of manhatten? This poll is a farce on the face of it. 10% indies? yea, that represents the voting population....not.

Best thing Romney can do for his candidacy is to stay home, stay quiet, and don't show up until its all over ~ like a number of other unlikeables did before him.
These polls are tools of spin. The notice you give them helps to destroy the republic and turns the election into a spin contest. It leads the RINOs astray.

Well I don’t think the EV vote will be as skewed as 88, the way the population is now distributed I think its going to be next to impossible to get something like 88 or 84 ever again, however the overall pouplar vote I believe will be on par with a 72 or 84 or 80.
LIke I said, this guy is looking at a CARTER style loss, but without the 3rd party candidate. An unprecidented loss for a sitting president in the modern era.
Fact is the electorate has made up its mind, and the ABO voters and motivation are such that no way in hell he can win. He’s got a MAX, and that means no mistakes, number of 42-43%, and he’s not going to be able to pull it off.
He’s attempting a balkanization approach, just today with his embracing of Gay Marriage, something he’s always done but never said before.. he hopes that will buy him some base motivation, but the problem is, those for that cause were already voting for him anyway. He’s going to do anything to try to get motivation behind him, which isn’t going to work, he’s going to openly embrace every leftist stand he can.. he truly believes the contry wants a leftist government.
He completely fails to understand that his victory in 08 was more about depressed republican turn out, and disgust with BUSH than anything else.. he’s doubling down on a strategy that will get those who supported him a bit more jazzed, but its going to further the resolve of those against him, and make the ABO voters swell.

Look for Obama to go down in a blaze of “glory” - I agree with you. The GOP should show up at the WH on Election Night and tell him in plain English, if he craps in the punchbowl, he will be prosecuted for everything under the sun, whether he's POTUS or ex-POTUS.
