(CNN) -- A long time ago a great three-time governor of Louisiana, Earl Long, said about Jimmie Davis, the two-time not very good governor of Louisiana, "You couldn't wake up Jimmie Davis with an earthquake."
As I go around the country and see various Democrats and talk to them on the phone, honestly I'm beginning to think that we have become the party of Jimmie Davis.
My message is simple: WTFU. Translated -- wake the you-know-what up, there is an earthquake.
You think that Democrats around the country are going to win -- as I hear time and time again from people on the street.
Democratic fundraisers, activists, supporters, and even politicians alike have somehow collectively lapsed into the sentiment that the president is going to be reelected and that we have a good shot to take the House back while holding the Senate.
I ask: What are you smoking? What are you drinking? What are you snorting or just what in the hell are you thinking?
Look around the world -- do you see any governments or incumbents winning any elections out there? Did it happen in small elections in Germany or Britain, big elections in France and Greece or how about huge elections in the United States in 2008 and 2010? Please folks -- wake up!
The polling? Not that encouraging. The latest Democracy Corps poll was 47-47. The Real Clear Politics average of polls has the president up a whopping three-tenths of a percentage point. And I am hearing the garbage that Democratic donors are telling Democratic fundraisers ..."Obama has it in the bag."

It says a lot about the ignorance of “Snakehead” that he would want them to wake up. Obama is the worst thing to ever happen to America, including the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Almost 3,000 men died at Pearl. How many millions of unborn have died because of Obaam, How many million of Seniors will die because of Obamacare. What happens when Obama does away with our Nuclear deterrent? What happens when he dumps Israel?
I hope the Democrats do sleep through this election, any sane person would hope so.
He says Romney shouldn’t have money in offshore accounts when running for president.
Maybe so, although I think Romney’s money is blind trusted.
But - Why would the president of the United States in the middle of a recession, have his wife take a lavish vacation alone to Spain of all places?
Carville wants the democrat camp to wake up, but look at the first thing he cites as proof the Romney campaign is “pathetic”, does Carville seriously think he is talking about anything that will resonate with voters??? -
“I mean, my God, when you hold a press conference to rebut charges that you have a Cold War mentality and then you have foreign policy “experts” talk about Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union in “contemporary” terms — really?”
So that’s it? Carville’s first issue is Romney failed to sufficiently call for a weak foreign policy? Hmm somehow Carville didn’t mention a little thing called THE ECONOMY!

Anybody who thinks Obama, considering what he’s done to this country, is bound to lose is naive.
Don’t forget the MSM is still lying for him, covering up for him and pushing him down America’s throats.

Don’t forget the reports are he has a billion in campaign funds.
Reports are flying that the dirty Marxist/Muslim usurper will pull the race card big time- and Romney is a sitting duck because of his church has a history of racial discrimination.

Carville wrote a book after the 2008 election, in which he said that the Democrats are poised to rule for 40 years. Now he’s saying, wake up, Democrats could lose? So which is it? Are Democrats in a new long term majority pattern, or could they really lose this election?

Well, you don’t need a Weatherman to know which way the wind blows—if you know what I mean.
By the way, Carville’s wife (Saint Mary Matalin) is a beautiful human being, so, other than his political views, Carville likely has some redeeming personal attributes.
I hear he has a 12” long tongue.
what happened to change Carvelle’s mind—Obama Happened. He proved to be a weak, president out of his water.
