Never. I will oppose the Nanny Staters until my last dieing breath.
The smug bastards sure love trying to ban the things they don’t approve of but mention banning something they do approve of in return and they squeal like stuck pigs.
Hate the lot of them.
The Hostess Products I ate as a kid are long gone. The stuff they make nowadays is missing something, taste.
What I really miss is Helms Bakery. They made the best Cupcakes I have ever eaten. It was a sad day when they went out of Business.
If I ever hit the Lotto, I would buy and restore one of the old Helms Trucks, find the old Helms recipes and hire a Bakery Chef so I could relive my youth. Oh yeah, that and buy a 70 Hemi Cuda convertible.
“18,000 people just started looking just in case.”
Or there are more people to be removed from the ranks of those seeking employment altogether, thus reducing the unemployment rate.
I’m sure in Obama’s mind, Twinkie makers are among the most unskilled of labor in our country. Plus, Michelle has an axe to grind.
Thanks; I haven’t seen them before (can you tell I’m not a juice drinker?). I am trying to get in the habit of drinking those small low-sodium V-8 cans each day; if it is going to taste nasty I might as well go all the way and do the low-salt thing.
I loved the spice cakes. They tasted better back then when I was young.
-—. the little Debbie cupcakes may be the quick fix if the Ding Dongs go down——
It’s good to have a back-up plan.
But nothing can replace Funny Bones...
I maintained the “snack room” at a previous job. Little Debbie were really the only affordable snacks other than what I got in bulk at Sam’s et al. I liked to keep everything at 25-50 cents (I wasn’t in it to make money).
