14-Year-Old Girl Faces Murder Charge In Stabbing Death Of 4-Year-Old Cousin May 06, 2012
INDIANAPOLIS – A 14-year-old Indianapolis girl was facing a preliminary charge of murder Sunday after allegedly stabbing her four-year-old cousin to death.
Police said the teenager, who was not identified, stabbed the boy at his grandparents' Indianapolis apartment at around 11:00pm local time Saturday and then fled the scene, WXIN-TV reported.
The victim's 11-year-old sister was also at the apartment but was not injured, according to police. The grandparents were home at the time of the stabbing.

I have to point out that this ugly, evil kind of stuff has been going on since the beginning of time. I don’t think it says anything in particular about the judiciary. And, the story is so lacking in details, that it’s impossible to come to any kind of conclusion as to the cause until more is known.

I agree, Suzy. They are leaving out a lot, but I think that’s a good thing. When they have finished the investagation, there will probably be more to come out.
Perhaps the little boy committed the crime of being a boy. Too bad this teen won’t be able to go back to school and tell everyone about her ‘girl power’ accomplishment. /sarc It would be a travesty is her defense attorney uses ‘early PMS’ as a defense. Just watch..

I agree with you, but taking things as reported here: she’s 14, he’s 4, she stabbed him multiple times, it’s hard to see how this is any other than a depraved act.
Had she shook him, or punched him or knocked him down, had he been older, then maybe we could imagine some “things just got out of control” scenario.
I remember one awful story about a big family dinner, maybe it was even Thanksgiving. There were a lot of people there and one man, the grandfather I think, was helping to clear the table and the granddaughter (I think) ran into him. Well, part of the stuff he was clearing from the table including a sharp knife sticking out between the dishes and it stabbed this poor girl right in the heart and she died.
So awful.
But somehow I’m thinking this will not turn out to be a case like that.
Sad to read of this happening. I guess libs will focus on charging parents for leaving knives available, unlocked, rather than the root causes for violence (removing God from schools for one).

Young woman are having children with the expectations their child will be great...not realizing that as a parent you have to teach a child, he isn’t just going to magically develope as I think mamy imagine will be.
I saw recently a young fellow of about 6 in the street carrying on screaming, completely out of control. The father attempted to “talk” to his son, of course which only aggrivated him further. Amazingly the kid started slapping ‘Himself’ across his forehead and face.
I never saw anything quite like that..but the father finally picked him up and carried him away...scratching and screaming and kicking...and still heating his own face.
Now what it is that has happened these children are allowed to go into these terrible fits?
Wonder if there’s parents and the grandparents were simply watching the children?

I suspect that this is more than just a discipline problem. I think that the girl must be extremely mentally ill.
I remember a severely mentally ill girl I knew in junior high school. She wasn’t homicidal, thankfully, yet had severe manic depression, and even then, to a 7th grader, it was obvious that she couldn’t continue like that. She was committed to an institution.
They must have added some content. When I read it earlier, it was extremely brief.
What was the girl’s mental history? Had she been hospitalized/incarcerated for other acts. Does she have a police record?
There are all sorts of things that could have been added to the article....was she on drugs—either illegal or legal that could have contributed to her acts.
Just stuff a real reporter would ruin down........

I didn't have perfect children....well behaved but not perfect....so I can imagine being that parent with the screaming child who isn't quite "right"....its not easy...

Some methods of advancement in Satanic ritualism involves human sacrifice and at least a blood letting. A 14-yr old girl would be a ripe initiate for that type of crime.

Try her as an adult and put her in a place for the criminally inane, not for 10 years, but for life.
