Attention "Anyone But Obama" (ABO) FReepers! If you go to the thread at the link you will will see that JimRob has "declared a truce" and hundreds of ABO FReepers are now vigorously defending their belief, which I share, that the ineligible Marxist Manchurian MUST BE DEFEATED to preserve the Republic...without fear of "the ZOT"! Please consider a DONATION not just to fund renewal of expression and amplification of your ABO views, but let's over-achieve this FReepathon to get JR his new equipment!

IMO, Free Republic and FReepers could be vital in swing states in rallying just enough conservatives to tip the election and prevent our troops from having to salute for even one day longer than necessary an ineligible Marxist committed to destroying the USA !

I guess you don’t know the definition of what a bigot is.Thats a shame, most 5th graders could answer that question.

It wouldn't be Romneycare, would it?

Nope, it was passed in 1981, forcing the state to use its matching funds in Medicare to cover abortions, as the Hyde amendment forbade using Fed funds.

When was the last time there was a good Presidential candidate for GOP? Probably Reagan’s second term, in his first one he certainly didn’t have much conservative support.

Yet conservatives keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

amazing

If the Republican "Anybody but Obama" was a Koran thumping Muslim, would you campaign for him and vote for him out of your fear of another 4 years of Obama?

No, because we are at war with "the religion of peace" whether anyone wants to admit it or not.

Mormons are not at present engaged in a global terrorist plot to destroy Europe and the United States.

Meanwhile back in the real world there is some evidence that Barack Obama is or was at one point a Muslim.

So among the two people who can win that's your choice, Mormon or possible secret Muslim.

This is not a difficult choice.

You are right, animal experts concede the common house cat is a pure predator, the equivalent of the shark, Mutatis mutandis, a culmination of evolution. No man should be abashed about making common cause with such a successful climber of the food chain.

“So you admit you’re voting for obama.”

Hey you guys said that if we didn’t vote for Romney we were voting for Obama. Well, you caught me in the act of not voting for Romney... the election is a half a year away and I am presently in the act of drinking coffee, watching the rain come down, and making fun of a ding a ling on my cell phone. In your wrinkled grey cerebral pea, I am definitely voting for Obama! LOL

And now... I’m putting International Delight almond joy flavored coffee creamer into my coffee... incontrovertible proof that I am a DU plant. ;^)

Blue shorts! I’m wearing blue shorts, just like blue states! I must be Obama’s cousin, suffering from amnesia!

I remember Kenya! I remember my mud hut! I remember my favorite food is fried grasshoppers! You’ve cured me! You are my hero for ever! Thank you!

Your friend for ever!...IMBALA ZEMBE

Look, the Court was in a bind. They'd just made a ruling that relied on the concept of Executive supremacy.

The way he should have dealt with that mistake was simple ~ Use it against them.

Sure, we don't do dungeons anymore but the Court works in government owned buildings that get heating from the Executive. No reason they need heat.

Then there's parking. They don't need to park. Their predecessors didn't park cars back in the 18th century when the constitution was written, so why should they. The Executive could have taken the parking and leased it out to street vendors or something.

But, whether or not dungeons are in fashion these days, I think people who demand Executive supremacy should get their faces rubbed in it almost immediately. They are like puppies peeing on the couch!

Now is NOT the time for playing politics as usual by offering up yet another weak kneed, milquetoast RINO.

Ideally, no.

But Harry Potter doesn't work here any more and everyone's magic wands are discharged.

So what would you suggest? Sit in the corner and cry?

“I am really tired of hearing the hatred spewed concerning other beliefs if different than some of these bigots.”

You mean like the bigots that inform people that the republican presidential candidate sees the white house as a stepping stone to godhood?
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Yep, that’s the bigots. The ones who are so ignorant they don’t even capitalize words like “Republican” and “White House”

I'm a reasonable person. I voted for Bush 1 even though I knew he wasn't the most conservative person out there, Same goes for Bush 2, Dole, and McCain.

I don't demand perfection.

However, there comes a time when a candidate is beyond the pale.

IMO, Romney is well beyond the pale.

You and Mitt Romney are advocating for a judicial oligarchy, a dictatorship of men in black robes.

Our Constitution however guarantees to each of the States a republican form of government.

You should read the document some time, and so should the likely “Republican” nominee.

Many on this site adamantly opposing and refusing to vote for Romney are clearly under the grip of ODS - OBAMA DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, the need to shout: “I AM A PURE CONSERVATIVE. HEAR ME ROAR!!”
These folks are enjoying their outrage so much they’ve become blinded to common sense and refuse to accept:
A. that this is a pluralistic society set up to tolerate and protect all religions.
B. that voting for President is not the same as selecting a pastor for your church.
C. that the President’s power to impose a minority religious view on the entire nation is less than zero
D. that staying home and not voting for the GOP Prez candidate is akin to biting off your nose to spite your face
E. that Sarah Palin will eventually support Romney because she’s a smart, smart, smart politician unaffected by ODS

In other words, you’re as full of sheeyit as a Superdome mens’ room after Katrina.

Don’t worry about what anyone who lives on Osage Street in Orange, TX thinks eastforker. That’s ignorant, Red Neck territory.

Damn, Humble. I don't understand why the obvious is so elusive to so many people. No, we can't just sit in a corner and cry about our plight. And no, the right answer isn't to succumb to the inevitable.

The right answer is to do whatever the hell we can to RESIST. Every red blooded patriot needs to sit down and figure out what that means to them personally, and then DO it.

I said earlier that the ballot box is FUBAR, and the soap box is completely ineffective against the ruling class Commies. Some are thinking that there's only one box left to open, but that's the box of last resort, and none of us wants to go there.

What to do?

I suggest that there's still one box remaining, and that's the tool box. Open it up, and you'll find lots of ways to RESIST the encroaching tyranny - including civil disobedience. That's only one tool in the box, but all of them are effective means to force the government class to bend to our will. We just need to use our imaginations on how to use those tools that work.

Yes, conservatives keep voting for Rinos (with held noses or otherwise) and somehow convince themselves that this will stop the leftward drift of this country.

Amazing!
