"It's very easy to criticize people. I think he's done a good job. He's done other things that maybe he should have been a little stronger about, people will complain. But it's not easy to be President of the United States," said De Niro on NBC's "Press Pass" with David Gregory on Friday.

"I give him credit and I hope he does ... I know he'll do better in the next four years, when he won't have to worry whether he's gonna be elected or not," De Niro continued.

Hopefully, the following phone conversation will take place on election night:

Robert DeNiro: Who's this?

Vinnie: This is Vinnie.

DeNiro: Vinnie, what happened?

Vinnie: Well we-...

DeNiro: You get it straightened out?

Vinnie: No, we had a problem... and uh, we tried to do everything we could.

DeNiro: What d'you mean?

Vinnie: Well, you what I mean. He didn't get reelected, and we couldn't do nothing about it. That's it.

DeNiro: What d'you mean? What d'you mean? Uh...

Vinnie: He's out. He's been voted out of office.

Vinnie: And that's it.

DeNiro: [smashing telephone] F***. Can't f*****' believe that,...

David Gregory: What happened?

DeNiro: They voted him out. They f*****' voted him out!

When it makes no sense, look for the motivation. In his case, it’s his wife.

LOL - what an excellent insult.

He’s an ACTOR for God’s sakes. He lives in a fantasy world in LaLa land. Any one who would seriously go to an actor with no other credentials (Regan HAD the credentials) for political advice deserves what he gets (i.e., Obama)

It’s good that this senile old fart is at the end of career because with his OBozo support so obvious, DeNiro is at the end of his career - in my opinion.

Sycophantic actors are introduced as supporting Obama to deflect the attention away from Obama's pathetic record. it's part of the liberal playbook. People generally like actors thus make a sympathetic connection to Obama through the actors.

There is also a financial incentive here. Hollywood actors who are in the twilight of their careers or have seen failure at the box office make a desperate effort to be relevant and competitive and they know who butters their bread in hollyweird. Adhering to liberal dogma will get you invited to the right parties, connect with the right producers, participate in lucrative activities that will bring them much needed exposure and financial rewards. I don't believe that actors are ideological in the pure sense of the term. There are those that are, Matt Damon, Alec Baldwin, George Clooney come to mind. But the vast majority simply do not have the intellectual heft or the necessary intellectual framework to be ideologically driven, they simply follow the hollywood zeitgeist in the hopes that they are rewarded hence they adopt liberal viewpoints. They may simply be acting the part as liberals to achieve their goals.

Deniro sadly has left the station a long time ago.

He isn’t going to have a “next four years” as president, Bobby.

I am sure that DeZero siad the exact same thing about Bush’s first term. DeZero wouldn’t be a ideological hypocrite.

Good summary of the movie "What Just Happened" in which DeNiro starred.

Seriously, though, there is a way to squash down a picture in HTML, like this:

Just add width="xxx" after the URL, where xxx is the displayed width of the picture.

Bobby has a point. Obozo’s golf scores are sure to do better when he no longer has to be dragged off the links for those pesky photo ops, like for instance when “Obama got Osama”.
