Kind of like the way his father Willard got the [R] nomination through “surrogates” (attacking the real Conservatives).

“No way this granddad is going to stand up for traditional family values. Not gonna happen.”

Are you saying that because Mitt Romney’s son had children via surrogate, MR will not stand for traditional values? What does using a surrogate cause someone to not have traditional family values??

MR doesn’t have traditional family values, but that has NOTHING to do with his son using a surrogate.

this is cool. progressive. but spending time with your deceased infant is weird; especially to a society that kills them for profit.

Even though a couple was recently reported to have gone to a morgue to view their deceased baby one last time and instead found the child to be alive.

This is why grandpa is trying to redefine marriage and socially engineer families. Polygamy would have handled this is problem.

Just as Sarah Palin isn’t going to stand up for traditional family values after her teenaged daughter became pregnant out of wedlock?

I am guessing too much polygamist Mormon inbreeding is keeping them from having a child naturally.

Or maybe they just have so much money they don't want to bother with actually being pregnant.

How horrible! Isn’t that illegal?
Rent-a-womb is very dangerous social policy.

Congratulations to the Romneys on the birth of their two new children!

To those of you using this as an excuse to attack his father, I say “Pffft!”

OH bull.

The gift of a child is precious no matter how it arrives..

I’m the mother of an adopted child and he was raised Conservative and is a fantastic adult now..

the new Romney kids will have a great life..I’m thrilled for them.

Rent-a- womb isagainst the law in France and most European countries.

This is dangerous social policy and can lead to all forms of horrible consequences.

What happened to you so-called conservatives? Surrogate mothers, rent-a- womb, using fetus stem cells for research; where is your moral consistency?

. The same surrogate was used for the twins carried their youngest son Jonathan, who was born in August of 2010. Their other three children were not born via surrogacy.

Who writes this stuff? I think their "youngest son" is the second born twin who was just delivered. Geeeesh!

Surrogate motherhood or Rent-a- womb, is going against God’s will.
Most evangelicals, Catholics, and orthodox Jews are against this practice.

None of this is any of my business, or anyone else’s. I don’t “get” why they have to announce a birth as surrogate (tho I guess it’s pretty obvious his wife wasn’t carrying). 3 children born within 2 years by the same surrogate seems a bit much, given they already had three children born without a surrogate. Maybe it’d be more understandable to us more traditional types had they not had the first three.

So who was the surrogate, the father or the mother?

They “used” a surrogate. A revealing choice of words.

To everybody on here trying to rip them a new one, what if his wife has a problem with her uterus and is unable to bring a child to term; and doing so would cause her death?

What is wrong with you people?
