O’HARA, Pa. – Tagg Romney, the eldest son of presidential candidate Mitt Romney, announced via Twitter that he and his wife Jen have new twin boys, delivered by a surrogate today.

“Happy 2 announce birth of twin boys David Mitt and William Ryder. Big thanks to our surrogate. Life is a miracle,” Tagg tweeting, linking to a photo of himself and one of his new sons.

This the second time that Tagg, 42, and his wife, Jen,39, have used a surrogate. The same surrogate was used for the twins carried their youngest son Jonathan, who was born in August of 2010. Their other three children were not born via surrogacy.

How horrible! Isn’t that illegal?
Rent-a-womb is very dangerous social policy.

No one does this for fun. They wanted more children and for some reason, she could not have any more the usual way.

It’s her egg and his sperm. What’s the problem.

Better than what Mary Cheney and her “spouse” did.

Yes, maybe John could have avoided his current court battle if they had lied and said Reilly was a surrogate. John’s probably smacking himself for not thinking of that first. Maybe he did and Elizabeth wouldn’t go along with it :)

“Next, you’ll be saying that only children conceived using the missionary position should be allowed to live. Sheesh.”

Well, there have been many “positions”, traditionally speaking. All result in natural insemination.

But the matter here is an artificial/unnatural insemination and the fertilized egg being unnaturally implanted on the “womb”. There is nothing natural about this. It is like making ice-cubes. Nothing natural about it.

Hey jerk, read the article. They already have 3 other children that were not born via a surrogate.

Congratulations to the Romneys on the birth of their two new children!

To those of you using this as an excuse to attack his father, I say “Pffft!”

Like I said, there is nothing “natural” about having someone else’ organ transplanted into you, either. But I’m sure you wouldn’t care if you needed one.

For some reason, Tagg Romney and his wife needed a surrogate. Nothing wrong with that and not our business.

No spewing of hate from me. I’m a Catholic, and I believe we stand alone in prohibiting the following: contraception (other than NFP for legitimate reasons), artificial insemination, and surrogates.

I am guessing too much polygamist Mormon inbreeding is keeping them from having a child naturally.

Or maybe they just have so much money they don’t want to bother with actually being pregnant.

You are an arrogant ass.

I bet you call yourself a Christian, too.

Two babies are born and you come up with that kind of hate.

It is like making ice-cubes. Nothing natural about it.

So does that mean you never use ice-cubes? Or air conditioning? None of that is natural. And I assume you never drive a car, since the natural way to get around is to walk... How far do you want to take this argument?

I'm not a fan of surrogacy - if an infertile couple wants kids, I think adoption is a much more loving option - but your attitude about the whole topic is very annoying.

the new Romney kids will have a great life..I’m thrilled for them.

Rent-a- womb isagainst the law in France and most European countries.

This is dangerous social policy and can lead to all forms of horrible consequences.

What happened to you so-called conservatives? Surrogate mothers, rent-a- womb, using fetus stem cells for research; where is your moral consistency?

“For some reason, Tagg Romney and his wife needed a surrogate. Nothing wrong with that and not our business.”

There in lies the problem. They needed the surrogate to create unnatural babies. Even rape makes babies, naturally. Even crack-whores make babies, naturally. Those rape and drug babies exist for natural purposes. AI, however, is purely unnatural.

The “reason” they wanted a surrogate was to create them some babies. They already had children. So, you can’t claim childless couple (that would not make it any better). So, they did it just to create unnatural babies. Everything is wrong with that.

I am not going into their house and saying them on their faces. I will however voice my opinion when raised the topic.

. The same surrogate was used for the twins carried their youngest son Jonathan, who was born in August of 2010. Their other three children were not born via surrogacy.

Who writes this stuff? I think their "youngest son" is the second born twin who was just delivered. Geeeesh!
