Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the beating death of a former U.S. Marine who was found unconscious outside of a party at a Cobb County, Georgia, apartment complex in March.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Arthur Batchelor, 37, Tarell Secrest, 36, and Jason Hill, 35, were taken into custody on Tuesday for allegedly killing 34-year-old Zachary 'Zach' Gamble. Another suspect, 38-year-old Sean Hall, of Atlanta, was arrested on Monday.
Hall is also accused of violating his probation stemming from a DUI conviction in 2009, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.
All four suspects have been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and aggravated battery. They are being held without bail in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, police say.

Our president should be working overtime to moderate and educate the black community. I am also a realist and see who is mostly to blame, what they are doing, and why. Their pawns might just be pawns, but when they are used to take out innocent people, those pawns need to be dropped. Why should anyone have to moderate the black community? 99% of the black community doesn’t commit crime. It is a really small _minority_ of criminal degenerates in the black community committing these crimes. The vast majority is not criminally inclined, and it does a real disservice to race relations when people act like every black person is like these thugs. Treat them as the thugs they are and throw the book at them.

Limo conservatives embraced Section 8 vouchers, just as limo conservatives have embraced school vouchers - they seemed like market-based approaches and the theory was that people engaged in anti-social behavior because of their surroundings. We've since discovered that taking thugs out of ghettos does not change their predatorial tendencies. The problem with vouchers is that it exposes low and and lower-middle-income working people (of all races) to the murderous violence of black sociopaths. This out-of-control aggression is why so many people oppose school vouchers - it's busing on steroids. And anti-social behavior may have more of a genetic component than politically-correct conservatives are prepared to admit. It's not that all blacks are sociopaths, but just as some dog breeds are more likely to bite, some races are more likely to offend - call it hormones, call it genes. I call it reality.
The average number of crimes (violent + property) stateside is 10m per year*. The average offender has about 40 years of crime in him - mid-teens to mid-50's. 40 years of crime = 400m crimes. Assuming that 1 individual is on average responsible for 40 crimes, that means 10m perps. Roughly half of those perps will be black - 5m - based on historical stats about the racial distribution of crime. This is why it is estimated that 1/3 of the male black population has been through the criminal justice system. And it is why the black community supports its criminals and attempts to get them off every chance it gets - the alternative is to have many more of them serving time in prison or being executed for heinous crimes like this one.
* It's actually more, but I'm rounding down.
We went on a dinner cruise a few weeks back, and sitting across from us at a group table was a wonderful young Black man named Stanley. He was raising two boys on his own, working as a government contractor at a nearby military base, and going to school at night to become a radiology tech, looking for better job security. As we heard him describe the struggle to raise two young sons in a gang-dominated community we were touched by his struggle and ashamed of our own increasing bigotry. We need to work hard not to give into our worst impulses, and to pray for justice and tolerance for everyone.
Resentment at the tendency of the black community to defend its violent sociopaths isn't bigotry - it's common sense. You can empathize with his difficulties while also recognizing that the black community's reflexive antipathy to the judicial system's efforts to lock up sociopathic black criminals is counterproductive to the community's image and profoundly racist.

Before I post anything, I want others not to tag me as a “noob”, I posted here years ago under the moniker “mikeyeganusn”.
What I am about to post is not going to make the news anytime soon. I know Sean Hall, and I knew Zach. The party was for Tarell Secrest, who was actually Zach’s best friend since HS. Sean knew Zach, and vice versa.
I wasn’t there, but from what I’m hearing from friends on both sides is that Zach was hitting on a friend of Arthur’s and he took offense to that. However, this is based on people who know both of them, Arthur is not the kind to fight, and Sean and Jason,(Sean and Arthur are blood cousins and Jason and Tyrell are cousins by marriage.) basically took up for Arthur. What happened after that is basically anyone’s guess.
What did happen was a tragedy. I don’t think they meant to harm Zach, but they also didn’t do the right thing afterwards, and that pisses me off more than any of you can imagine,because, as mentioned,I know them both.
I’m posting this,after years of not posting, because I am seeing posters passing judgment without knowing the facts, kind of what we all feel about the Zimmerman/Martin situation.
A little more information; Tarell was not involved in any beating, as was, Arthur. It was likely Sean that was involved, and Jason. Tarell is 450 pounds and a bad diabetic, and never left the apartment. Arthur wasn’t the type to be in a fight, however, since they knew what happened, and didn’t come forward, they are completely at fault for that.
I’m also hearing that all the involved were on something besides alcohol and marijuana, and if any of you actually did some digging, that’s why Cobb County PD “delayed” the toxicology report, and when I say “all the involved”, unfortunately that also includes Zach.
None of these numbskulls are “thugs”. Before this happened, Sean actually has been over to my house and behaved like a decent person should behave. I do believe it was a situation that got out of control, and his actions have consequences.
Sean, has white blood in him, and his kids are part white as well. This past Monday, when I found out, it completely took me by surprise.
I want the facts to come out, and have no doubt, I believe they completely screwed up, and their friend is dead. However, the posting here by some, without having any knowledge of anything that may have happened, is outrageous to me.
Zach knew me as “Doc” ( HM2(FMF/PJ),USN-RET-PDRL) and I will
not say a bad word about him. However, I hope some here will show restraint and not make a rush to judgment.

And, I am not painting a picture of a nice guy. I know Sean, and I knew Zach, and I would never have imagined Sean being involved in a violent crime. Zach’s best friend was the Tarell dude, I knew Arthur by reputation, and I don’t know Jason at all.
However, you stating that it would have been someone else they would have attacked, if not for Zach, is way off-base. Sean, prior to this, had only DUI’s on his record, which is horrible, but no violent crimes ever, prior to this one, on record. Arthur, prior to this, has never been to jail. Tarrel, prior to this, has no record. Only Jason, I’m not sure of.
Nothing from this group of people would have ever indicated they ever intended to do something violent, no prior record.
The only thing I agree with you on, is that they need to be in jail. I will say this; If it comes out that they did this with malice, I will have no issue with them reaping what they sow. However, friends of all the concerned are painting a different picture of what happened, and since I know most of the involved, I am not willing to make this a race issue, at this point.
I'm as cynical as they come, but I never thought I'd see any such happening here, yet it seems to be happening, forming right in front of us.
