I agree with Newt on this also, and Mark Levin and Rush also.

I'm disappointed in them. I fully expect to be disappointed in Palin when/if she gets on the pro-Romney ABO bandwagon.

The very reason that people have to be panicked and frightened into voting for Romney, reveals their native common sense. You damned right folks like you and others here who agree with Breitbart, bridle and acknowledge Romney's flaws. You feel you have no other choice, though all your instincts rebel. COMMON SENSE is telling you that voting for a liberal is voting stupid. Fear is squelching common sense among Republicans and conservatives.

Newt was wrong on Scozzafava -- and he's wrong in the same way now. As Doughty One put it, Romney is "a bridge too far." See my homepage if you think finding myself in the position of parting ways with Newt, Levin, and Rush is unfamiliar. Peer pressure -- and that's what it is -- is peer pressure, that's all.

We disagree even though we have the same goals for the republic.

I’ve said before this argument can be simplified to two sides: One thinks the other underestimates how bad Obama will be; one thinks the other side underestimates how bad Romney will be.

One think Romney is a bridge too far; the other thinks the stakes are too high not to remove this regime from power.

Thanks very much for your discussion.
