The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.
Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)."
"The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains.
The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

Actually I was glad when they took this socialist sounding name, even before I read the background history above.
Hopefully Mitt (yah, I know, but it looks like he will be our GOP candidate) and the RNC will wrap this word like a yoke around 0dumb0's neck! As in FORWARD to Destruction, to Bankruptcy, to Corruption, to Killing the American Dream.
And now that we know the socialist background to his, wrap this like a double yoke around the marxist-socialist-commie pig 0dumb0!

That Obama would choose a blatantly Communist Slogan like this is no surprise to those of us who have been paying attention.
But then, this propaganda and the imagery isn’t directed at US, it’s directed at the millions of sheeple who never had a real history class, and have no idea what this really means.

However that is why I said that Romney & the GOP ought to hang this like an anchor around 0dumb0’s neck and hammer 0dumb0 on the fact that “Forward” will plunge us even deeper into bankruptcy, racism, corruption, killing the economy, etc. I know that Newt would be able to phrase it so that it turns on 0dumb0. I don’t know that Mitt will either do that or have the balls to do it.

Change is Here, Change is Coming

Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.
In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.
We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.
We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.
In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.
Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.
Isn’t it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?
Can’t we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?
And isn’t the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system – a system steeped in racism – no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?
All these things are within reach now!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.
The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.
There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.
The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

So, we’re going to go “Forward,” now as opposed to the last four years in “Reverse.”
(As little as two weeks ago I looked into this rumour and the entry in Wikipedia included information about what kind of "curriculim" or indoctrination took place at Artek. That information has now dissapeard. The current entry in Wikipedia now only has generic information about the camp.)

It was established on June 16, 1925 on the Black Sea in the town of Gurzuf located on the Crimean peninsula, near Medved Mountain, Ukraine. An outstanding Explanation of why Obama and Socialists past have chosen the slogan “Forward!”, from another message board:
The reason, and reasoning for “Forward” is simple.
To choose a word like Forward, is to corner a position. What O is trying to do is to create a basic connotation that anything else is “Backwards”.
You’ll see soon that all the Pundits like Maddow and Shultz will adopt this message. Claiming that “we can’t go back” anything but “forward” is backwards. And that there is no option than to stay on the path we are on.
The idea is to create a speaking point that avoids the fact that we are on the wrong track. And by claiming that the only way is forward, they don’t have to deal with heading in the wrong direction. Since the “only option” is to go back to the 2008 depression.
The pure reasoning for this, is to try and deny the opposition an alternative path from here. The argument will be that there is no other options than “Forward” or “Backward”
This is basic mass psychology, removing the logic, and reason that exists in normal speech. Whereas anyone who thinks about it knows that we don’t have to go back, to turn into a better direction, this is not an option that the O campaign wants people to hear. They want the sheep to believe that the only option to O’s Politics, is to go “Backwards.”
