JERUSALEM (AP) - U.S. President Barack Obama has ended a $147 million Congressional funding freeze that shut down Sesame Street and other aid programs to the Palestinians.
An official with the U.S. Agency for International Development said Saturday that the money, which pays for infrastructure, education and health projects, had been restored.

Prior to Obama seizing office, it would have been unimaginable to think that the United States tax payers would be giving money to the Palestinians.
“Congress” is compromised; I see no other explanation about it.
Boner certainly will do nothing.
Michelle Bachman used to stand up for conservative principles and got a fair amount of publicity doing it. We lost that when she decided to run for POTUS. I don’t know if she has taken up her congressional position again as a conservative leader, but if so, it is no longer making the news.
I can think of a couple of POSSIBLE reasons for that silence. One is that she is no longer playing that role. Another is that the media broadcast her words earlier in hopes that they could brand her as an extremist and thus get her voted out. When that didn’t work, they decided to sweep her under the rug.
Or maybe some of both. In any case, Boner caves on absolutely everything, and no one knows it unless he comes to a place like FR to find out. Because the OFFICIAL OBAMANOID/MSM propaganda position is that Boner is a right-wing obstructionist who wants to take away all your bennies, and only those paying attention know differently.

Congress didn't do anything other than freeze funds last fall.
He already froze funds. That's not doing nothing.
Obama has an executive branch stash of money that he can spend as he wills.
He will be in there another 4 years unless we can figure out how to get millions of unhappy people to vote. It looks like many will just sit the election out (like many good folks did last time they were disappointed with the nominee). I wonder .. if Governor Romney is nominated and if he chooses Santorum, Bachmann or Gringrich as VP, would that get the many disappointed people to vote? Or?
It seems to be a magical stash that keeps refilling itself. Smells like something else that needs investigating in this administration.
I’m still looking for the required report that Obama told Clinton to supply to Congress. According to law the report should detail why it is in the ‘National Security’ interest to release the funds, and provide an accounting of how funds were used in the past and how the funds will be used in this release.
And not a dime to the American fishermen in New England where the Mass. Gov. requested $21 milllion in aid after the Obama, Agenda 21 “Catch Share” allocation system created an “economic disaster”.
