Let's put this to bed. We have bigger fish to fry.

Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

It could promote a policy that opposes abortion but the government does not have the power to stop abortion. The consent of the governed is necessary. If the offspring whose mothers don't kill them decide in sufficient numbers that they won't kill their own offspring, then abortion will be rare and/or obsolete.

Killing offspring is the crux of this issue, af vet. That is why I am BOTH pro-life AND pro-DELIVERY.

I oppose abortion to save the life of the mother, and many are aghast at that position. But let me explain the PRO-DELIVERY distinctive.

Abortion is, by definition, an act of killing. The babies are cut in pieces, have the brains evacuated, are salinated, or sometimes are left to die unaided or dumped in some trash bin.

Delivery is, by definition, an effort to bring a child into this world alive and then to provide all necessary resources to keep it alive, if possible.

In a "life of the mother" case, I would support herculean efforts to deliver and assist the baby no matter the stage of development. That is the pro-delivery distinctive. The "abortion in the case of life of mother" is focused on KILLING the infant. Pro-Delivery is focused on preserving the life of the infant.

ALL abortion is, therefore, homicide. All deliveries -- EVEN unsuccessful attempts -- are efforts to PRESERVE.

Such a position, pro-life/pro-delivery, would eventually push even earlier the time of viability of our young, so that we can imagine preserving life through miraculous efforts from the earliest stages of life onward .

Pro-Delivery perspectives highlight the truth about late-term abortion in which a murder clearly takes place. Pro-delivery would clearly show that the ability to both deliver and preserve would be near 100% successful.

No, the Supremes could reverse Roe vs. Wade but that would not derail the legal abortion train.

This is 100% WRONG!

Read the Roe v. Wade decision sometime, it is explicitly stated that if personhood of the baby is established then 14th Amendment protection is guaranteed. And this FACT is not only in the decision, it is acknowledged by ALL PARTIES.

So, the only question is whether or not the baby is a person. However, if someone is to contend that the baby is not a person, what is it?

"I respect those who say 'they cannot in good conscience vote for Romney'. But I cannot in good conscience, allow Obaama a free return trip to the Oval Office. He bids fair to destroy the last bastion of freedom on Earth, the US: and on multiple fronts--the judiciary, converting our currency like unto that of Zimbabwe, destroying our economy through nationalizing energy, destroying our health care industry, and controlling the food supply as well as laws allowing the imprisonment and execution of US citizens without trial or counsel; not to mention unilateral nuclear disarmament." In addition, the Manchurian Marxist is ineligible to be POTUS and must be removed ASAP and replaced with an eligible natural born citizen either before November or in November, IMO.

There will be no 2016 election for conservatives to participate in if Barry's Marxist-packed SCOTUS (it will only take one loss from the five on the right) to impose the "fairness doctrine" to shut down any media which espouses conservativism, including FR. Defending marriage, life and Christianity, US sovereignty and resisting Sharia will be deemed "hate speech" long before 2016, IMO, if Barry is allowed to win in 2012. Churchill rushed all possible resources to save Stalin, a man he loathed, from Hitler because that was what was necessary to save the UK, and I believe that US conservatives face a similar repugnant choice and duty in 2012.

Lutheranism notwithstanding, I think you should be ripped non-stop just for generally being whiny.

Whatever odd things are said about you, (nevermind the odd things you say about yourself), I'll have to agree with you on this one. +1

I cannot let this pass without commenting. I had a tubal pregnancy years ago and the only option was to terminate the pregnancy.

I did not kill my offspring nor did I commit homicide. That baby was not going to survive either way. Pro-delivery at 6 weeks gestation is never an option.

Hi PBR. I would argue with you the points of delivery and homicide.

Delivery is an effort to preserve.

Homicide is the killing of a human. (There is, for example, justifiable homicide. That means that death was caused but that it was for good reasons. Your tubal would probably fall under that category.)

However, the delivery of that child is simply a matter of progress in that direction. What we think is impossible is limited by what we’re capable of doing at this time. If we never try, then the boundaries of capability won’t be pushed.

So, yes, an EFFORT could have been made. If a death occurred nonetheless, then it would have “expired during delivery.”

EVERY abortion, on the other hand, is always designed to cause the baby to die.

Many women would have an entirely more positive sense of what had happened if they were able to tell themselves that they had done everything to deliver a child rather than have it cut into pieces.

I have a feeling that before this is done we will have fifty thousand posts and be down to a dozen members. Heck perhaps this is kind of like FR Highlander (Freeplander?). In the end there can be only one.

No. Stand for something or just run away. Whatever else I've done in my life. No matter what people on this forum think of me, choosing "the lesser of 2 evils" is still CHOOSING EVIL.

Last time I looked, no one on this planet is getting out alive.

For all the debt. For all the money. For all of the bullshit. The best bet is to run away. TO CHOOSE EVIL.

OR STAND FOR SOMETHING.

And even WHEN your body rots away. If YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT THING. YOU WILL LIVE LIVE FOREVER.

STAND FOR SOMETHING.

OR RUN AWAY AND HIDE.

NOW. GET ME STARTED ON MY "BUDDIES"--BARRY AND MITT.

” - - - STAND FOR SOMETHING.”

IMHO that is what we do NOT do on FR. What we do is what the Liberal Agenda Media, (LAM), does: we try to choose what politician best represents our views.

The LAM has chosen Obama and says that we should choose Romney.

The Primary voters that have taken the trouble to vote, ( 20 to 30 % of the Republican voter pool, by State), have yet to give a landslide vote for anybody.

What we are doing is doing EXACTLY what the LAM and the Democrat Party want us to do: 1.) ignore the problems in The US Federal Government, 2.) have heated discussions about which looser candidate is the most representative of our own personal views.

NOBODY IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE MAIN PROBLEM!

Thus, this summer we will see Obama and Obamalite shout out the favorite smocksreens of the LAM. The first is their main favorite smokescreen of “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.”

The second smokescreen is “Stimulate the Economy.”

Since small businesses create most of the jobs in America, smokescreen # 1 is invalid by inspection. Governments do not create jobs, they destroy them.

As for smokescreen # 2, ask “Enema” Ben Bernanke how his Quantative Easings, shovel-ready projects, Increased Bank Regulations, and bailing out Fannie and Freddie has worked out.

The US Federal Government is the SOURCE of the problem, not the solution.

And before anybody gets all emotional about Hero Rep. Paul Ryan’s Budget, he estimates that it will be in balance in 30 years, whoop-dee-do.

If we at FR spend our energies looking for POLITICIANS to help solve the main problem, then we have learned NOTHING about the complete inability of politicians to solve problems.

Back to your borrowed quote: Let us not stand for a given politician, instead, let us at FR stand for principles that will solve the main problem.

We then will have a unified voter block that will require politicians to come to us, rather than we go to them.

_________

Late last night I read most of the replies on this and similar threads, and then posted Comment # 2254 above.

For those who want to solve the main problem, post # 2254 is for you.

My impression last night was that we at FR have lost focus on identifying the main problem - - -

I don’t know the sequence of the book foreword and his purported conversion experience.

And I’ve also not read anywhere of any repudiation of the globalist goals and values that a true conversion experience would logically have fostered.

Soooo, I’m greatly skeptical that the leopard has changed his spots.

Other Presidents purportedly had born again experiences as well and did quite a faithful job of carrying out the globalists goals, strategies, orders.

At least he’s on public record with the Toffler book of being squarely behind, in support of those horrific anti-Christian and anti-family and anti-Constitution values and goals.

EXACTLY.

I would suggest that the GOP Platform is where there is much conservative agreement already. I think one problem is the GOP (especially the RINOs) say one thing (pledge to support the platform) YET do another (vote and act contrary to the platform).

Of course,

IF

folks are going to say that

WHEN

a politico of the right height, weight and what . . . skin color or label?

SAYS that they hate and seek to destroy

—Christianity
—the Constitution
—the family

Conservatives go . . .

“Awwwww we know you don’t mean it—here sit in the place of honor at our table.”

THEN

I don’t know that there’s much more that can be said.
