Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

So you are trying to raise donations by telling people to F off? Of course everyone is free to leave. And then you can have a site of 30 people agreeing with each other for a few weeks before they turn on each other. That sounds fun.
The owner set rules. Those that can’t follow them have to answer to him. They made a choice. Choices have consequences.

I was going to double my monthly donation, but I don’t think I will.
By the looks of how this thread on fundraising has turned into a hair-pulling catfight where it has become more important for everyone to show just how hurt their feelings are, this site is finished. Jim should just hit the RESET button and start over after a six-month vacation.
This is not to say FR is without blame. Keeping ping lists on people who speak about their support for a republican you don’t like, then banning them for their beliefs, is gutless and idiotic if it is indeed happening.

I remember when every thread proclaimed “Rove, you magnificent bastard!!” When Ann Coulter’s essays and appearances sparked ten threads praising her thought, her wit and her looks each day.Now they are the spawn of the devil. It doesnt sya they have to switch. They went early, and lost half the delegates. That was the penalty. You want it to be something else.

I’m neither a Mormon or a Mitt supporter (I was/am pro-Newt) but I’ve been attacked as though I were, simply because I don’t have a seething rage at Romney that makes me think another four years of a Communist in the White House would actually be preferable to Romney. I suspect the sense that that’s become the core view of this forum is one of the things discouraging donations. Giving the destructive bastard and his cohorts an opportunity to continue dismantling America so I can feel good about my conservative bonafides is never going to happen, and I don’t ever expect to see eye to eye with those who feel that it should.

I stopped donating when I was called a “HATER” for pointing out that Palin endorsed a life-long RAT in WV 3 in 2010. (He had put an [R] after his name a few months before) The number of outspoken, shrill FReeloaders on this site had something to do with it also.
So there are “pro-Obama” folks here who are evidently allowed to support the reelection of the communist.

INDEED!!! I will NOT stay on or support a forum that in any way shape of forms aids in the re-election of that monster. I came within an inch of deleting my account, then decided to mostly lurk until after the elections, and see if FR turns in little DU or stays the wonderful site it was when I joined. The posts on each thread are getting less and less. Where the heck did everyone go?
