Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

I’ve been reading here since the beginning and been signed up since 2000.
This is still a great site to discuss breaking news and military issues. Many very knowledgable and good people on the site.
But since we are all speaking freely tonight, the site has become damn near unreadable the past year as it relates to politics. There are about 15 super active posters on here who camp out and ridicule everything. And usually they do it under the guise of carrying Jim Rob’s flag.
I’ve seen too many good conversations turn sour here with comments like “you know we don’t allow no RINO’s on here. I’m going to tell Jim Rob.”
Jim Rob did a great civic duty creating this site. And he can make the decision if he wants to have a larger more influential site like we had in the past or a marginalized small pond. I’d vote for the old days.
I find no fault with the quote and it fits with Adams “In politics the middle way is none at all.”
I joined FR in Nov 2005 and my last post was Dec 2011, prior to this one. I joined all the others here today who have finally been able to voice their opinion without being instantly banned, ambushed, embarrassed or rudely ridiculed.
I always enjoyed reading the threads and posts, more than commenting myself, for the information, of those who may not be familiar with my pen name. My favorite hang out was always the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread but I expressed my dismay in December 2011 to the host of the site, AB, and asked him to stop sending me pings. At that time, I expressed how horrified I was at the vicious and vile attacks against other members and the primary candidates who were not "PURE" to the powers that be here.
My views on the Republican primaries has always been ABO because I have children and grandchildren and wanted better for them like my parents wanted better for me. I consider Obama and the Progressives a bigger threat to this Country than Osama Bin Laden ever was. Yes, I was disappointed that some of the serious Republicans out there did not enter the race, but to be honest, I never thought Palin was a serious candidate. My candidate eventually became Romney because it became clear, he was the only one able to defeat Obama with the organization and money that it takes to run a general election. So that is where I stand politically.
I also, as my name may indicate, still support G W Bush and have not appreciated the vile opinions against him on FR. I believe he will, in years to come along with Cheney, be appreciated and recognized for the strong foundation and intelligence they created after 9/11 that still keeps us safe to this day. He was a modest man and should have spoken up for himself and not let the Progressives lie and define him. Maybe we would not have Obama today if he would not have worn himself out so soon.

I realize the purpose of this thread is to raise money so let me express my views on the finances here.
I have contributed in the past, when I naively assumed, the place was some sort of non-profit membership organization with transparency. It is only recently, that I learned, the place is set up as a privately 100% LLC owned by Jim Robinson with NO transparency. He provides only a "BUGDET" in other words meaningless information. The Budget "said" $1,200 (last time I looked) now it says $1,000 is required every quarter for legal and accounting services. For that kind of money, you would think you would get something more than a meaningless budget. SO HOW MUCH DOES JIM ROBINSON REALLY COLLECT HERE ??? It appears he does a good job of BEGGING for money but he is not honest enough to report how much he "actually" collects and what his "actual" expenses are. So my next question is HOW MUCH DOES JIM ROBINSON STICK IN HIS POCKET and pay his loyal czars to keep their mouth's shut ?? Without any transparency on the finances, we can only assume, it is paying off BIG for Jim Robinson and his ELITE SUPPORTERS & workers !!
The "Budget" also shows $13,500 in administration, management and taxes which appears to be 46% of the budgeted expenses. Does no one, but me, dare to ask what the hell that is ?? If total revenues are over $300,000 on an annual basis, then 46% of $300,000 or over $300,000 is a serious slush fund to the owner when some donors state they donate "small amouts" because that is all they can afford.
Another point on FR finances and vulgar attacks on Romney. How many of you know Jim Robinson is also on Twitter under the name of @DEFEAT ROMNEY ?? It's set up as a Spam account because there are posts made on this twitter site every few minutes 24/7 over 58,000 tweets last time I looked. How much money is diverted from FR donations to support the technology to spam tweets 24/7 against Romney ?? Most of the tweets against Romney, like here, are made up lies more vile, vulgar and disgusting than any Obama loving Marxist could post.
I expect my post to be deleted. But, I would ask all those who do donate here to reconsider what they think they are supporting. I believe Jim Robinson has gone off the deep end and taken others who are easily swayed, senile or are monetarily benefiting with him !!

In my experience, looking at some of the anti-Palin, pro-Romney types reveals a posting history with Giuliani and Romney in the past, along with softly spoken pro-abortion, pro-homosexual agenda, anti-Christian, even anti-gun political views, I can see how those types would feel that they are constantly under siege from all these freerepublic right-wingers, or as you say it "The rebellion is against those here who clothe themselves in your position and villify any freeper who sees a different path to saving the country."
But I think that it is just that most freepers are honestly and independently conservative and disagree with those liberals, not that they are 'clothing' themselves in JR's position just to be mean to a bunch of romneybots and mockingly hostile, social lefties.

What we have to figure out is what Perry is going to do for the next four years. He said yesterday he plans to run again in ‘16, and you can’t exactly do that as part of a Mittens admin, so either the endorsement was malevolent BS (please Lord let that be the case) OR he expects zero to win.
I’m hoping for option A, he intends to take down Mittens where necessary and appropriate, or rather take down the FED with or without FUMR’s approval.

It’s Friday night. I think I might just stay up.
As tough as it is, sooner or later your have to deal with reality. I make my living fixing things...I can't just wish they weren't broken or ignore them. I repair them to the best of my ability with the tools and parts I have available. Cussing them, humiliating them, or maligning them have yet to make them work properly (although cussing occasionally helps).
Mitt is the only part available to me to fix the disaster that Obama is.
