What if large numbers of R registered voters start re-registering as independents in the coming month or two.

Will the registrar stats be public knowledge and could they impact the thought process at the convention in late August?

We can hope or make this a reality.

I am waiting for the actual convention. If the GOP does nominate Bishop Willard, then I am done with them at long last. In 32 years, I have voted FOR exactly three Republicans. President Ronald Reagan, Governor Mike Foster, and Governor Sarah Palin. All other votes were against the democrats. Too little for too long.

But I will wait for the convention.

Agree with that.

That stated, the businesses he ran were highly successful. Daddy’s money doesn’t help with simple business mathematics.

Look at it this way...it’s not a vote for Romney, but a vote against Obama.

Romney on a scale of 1-1 (10 being conservative, 1 being Lenin) is about a 4 or a 5....Obama is a 0....

Vote for Romney, work to get conservatives in the house and senate. It’s the best case scenario this year.

With respect to Jet Blue...if you have a 401k and invest in mid cap stocks, chances are you are investing in a company that Soros, Romney, or CALPERS (Californian’s unionized state employees) invests in. Businesses don’t discriminate when it comes to borrowing money to grow the entity...as it should be....

Welcome to the INDEPENDENTS.
I changed my party affiliation in 2008 after that debacle. Like Reagan in the 1960s, the party left me in the dust in their move to the left and their disdain for any and all things conservative.

So when he wins; you have forfeited your right to bitch about it. All you have done, is dillute the Conservative base from a RINO to Obama’s favor.

I’m sure you feel really good, having a nice temper tantrum; but I suspect your children and grandchildren will be somewhat ashamed at the results.

That's what I have been saying for along time, this is Just like the 1850's the Rep's are to cowardly, fat, and lazy to put a fight against the Dem's. Just like the Whigs over Slavery.

We also see a parallel of Modern "Free VS Slave" States, of Red VS Blue, the Democrats want Puerto Rico into the Union, another solidly Democratic State and they want the Illegals to vote turning Red States Blue, soon the Republican WON'T be able to beat the Dem's in Electoral Votes, just look at California or North Carolina. We will be taxed with no Say in our own Government, a recipe for Disaster and War.

Are you sure? If it had not been for his father's business connections and those of the SLC lds, he would have gotten nowhere. It always helps when you are being propped up by a powerful corporation who desperately wants you to be the "golden boy".

Romney is now a Socialist, running a business doesn't even enter into it at this point.
If your expecting big change forget it, Romney won't be shifting the course too much differently from Obama.
The Economy is going to collapse and/or the Government is going to default on the debt, would rather the credit go to Obama. Of course if all this happens on Romeny’s watch he can be the new Herbert Hoover of the Republican Party.
