Sarah and Todd voted for Newt. Did you? Did you $upport his campaign?

If you didn’t, don’t claim you are on their side but on the ‘any dog will do’ side.

Um... Ballygrl is no longer with us. She said that anyone that wouldn't vote for Mitt was a regressive something or a socialist.

Jim zotted her personally.

I won't vote for liberal Romney. Period.

Then write in Ross Perot. That'll show em!

It's not about showing anyone. I won't vote for a liberal. Period.

And the last 5 elections, the GOP has put up a moderate or liberal. No conservatives. Why should you expect a conservative to vote GOP?

So according to you Newt Gingrich lied when he credited Heritage Foundation with originating Romneycare? Really? Can you elaborate on why you think that Newt lied?

And here is another article from Reason Foundation that was published in 1993. This confirms that Heritage Foundation was for individual mandate.

Check out Virgil Goode, who’s running for Prez as the Constitution Party’s candidate. He’s a good man.

Obama agrees.

And Jimmy Carter is ok with a Romney presidency. He actually came out and said that. I guess you are, too.

“Santorum did better than Newt, but he never had a chance to win because too many conservatives recognized he could never win a national general election.”

1 - Both Santorum and Newt were second tier, mediocre (at best) candidates.

2 - It amazes me that some Newt supporters are myopic enough to think that Newt could have won the general. Santorum had a better shot by far.

I thought this election would be an inspiration and a chance for conservatism to blossom. Far from it!

However, anyone thinking that another four years of 0 is preferable to Romney is severely delusional. We can’t afford 0’s spending, and we REALLY can’t afford any SCOTUS picks of his.

I’m sure many that’re saying they’ll not vote, or will vote third party will instead come to their senses by November.

We differ on the Newt/Santorum issue, but I agree with everything else in your post. It is definitely a huge letdown to wind up with Romney after all the excitement in 2010. Saying that, I agree we have to vote for the only candidate that has any chance of beating Hussein - even if only to stop the Supreme Court from going hard left. Most of this talk about not voting or voting 3rd party will diminish as we get closer to November.

Send him an e-mail asking him to stay in if he can. I told him this was always going to be a tough day in the northeastern states where Mitt’s home base is. He was polling close to Mitt in TX yesterday and ahead of Mitt with evangelicals there. The upcoming states are much more favorable to true conservatives than Tuesday’s states were. We need Newt’s delegates, ideas and influence at the convention.

Do you think she would accept a cabinet position?

What about Sec. of the Interior?

I have supported Rick Santorum, but it wasn’t without noticing that he couldn’t seem to help himself from making mistakes. In my perfect world, Rick isn’t someone I see leading out with regard to Conservatism. I don’t think he’s well grounded.

This was a terrible year for Conservatism during the run up to the nomination process.

I appreciate your comment. No offense intended.

You just never know who the Great Cat will zot.

But it's a pretty good bet if the poster says that folks who won't vote for Romney are kooks and socialists.

There's yer sign.
