Rick Santorum Still Won’t Endorse Mitt Romney
ABCNews ^ | 4/24/2012 | Shushana Walshe

Rick Santorum went up to the edge of endorsing Mitt Romney this evening, but failed to pull the trigger despite many attempts by CNN’s Piers Morgan to get him to say the word. Clearly frustrated by Santorum not dancing around the endorsement of Romney, Morgan at one point said, “Spit it out.”

He would be a fool to. Romney can keep playing that audio from 4 years ago.

Piers Morgan is retarded

Sweater Vest wrestling lawyer is still ambulance chasing and looking to maximize his payback for taking out Gingrich.

So’s Obama. I’m not sure why ‘articulate’ is high on the list of ‘leadership qualities’

Personally I prefer ‘not wanting to force people to pay to kill babies’, but then I don’t know about you.

I didn’t see this segment, but I’ve noticed of late how many talking heads are suggesting that Santorum “must” endorse Romney as if he is somehow obligated. I hope he doesn’t.

Why bother?

They want him to endorse so they can backstab him later on. Ain’t gonna happen.

I think anyone who endorses Willard is going to pay a price for such crass capitulation. Each of them will look like Neville Chamberlain in the long run.

He basically did. He’s a “team player” in the end after all.

Silly me. I believe in standing tall on my principles. Romney makes no effort to reach out to cultural conservatives or even pretend we exist. Sad.

Morgan pointed out that was Romney. Santorum answered, “Well that’s what it looks like, yeah.”

What's wrong with an outright repudiation? It has to start somewhere. Why is there no fight left? Why does no one make things interesting? I think Romney has a glass jaw. I'd like to see Santorum or Gingrich slam his fist on the table and say "NO - I will not endorse. I repudiate Mitt Romney and all of his lies."

  That would be a start.

They are not afraid of Willard. They are afraid of Willards loyal swarm of rodents in and out of the GOP.

Always wondered the same thing! Where is the fight? Both of them could have used this tactic, and it would have gotten voters more fired up.

But they prefer to look and act like milquetoastikins.

Afriad of Romney’s money, I guess.

If you think Santorum took out Al Gore, I’m sure you think that Gore took out Nader and Bush 1. took out Perot.

LOL. Even after Newts performance tonight, with Rick fully out of the race, you are blaming others for his shortcomings.

During the past three days I’ve counted four instances where the MSM lied about Newt Gingrich or his daughter saying they were quitting the race. All those articles were false.

Romney is known to pull that king of crap, and the news media is willing to be paid to lie about conservatives.

It is very, very difficult to work against lies and corruption. All one can do is keep campaigning.

Note: Republican voter turn out is very, very low. The effort at demoralizing conservatives nationwide is succeeding.
