WASHINGTON (AP) -- In a first-of-its-kind ruling, the government says transgender people are protected under federal employment discrimination laws.

The decision from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission late last week says employers cannot discriminate on the basis of gender identity.

Well, EVERYONE is protected under the law, from George Zimmerman to Ru Paul. The issue is they want to protect certain people MORE than others and that is just as bad if not worse as protecting certain groups LESS than others.

There is no genetic component to wearing clothes of the opposite sex. We are all born naked. Fashion is ruled by social custom.

People who are f***ed in the head do not get to set the dress code at the workplace.

In other words, if your kid’s male teacher starts coming to school in a dress and heels—and uses the ladies bathroom—don’t say anything, or the weirdo can make a federal case out of it.

There is noting more disgusting than these weirdos. At the same time they are often pitiful.

I have never watched that dancing show on TV but caught just a few seconds one time when they had Chastity Bono on with another girl. He she or it was moving in jerky Frankenstein like motions. Just couldn’t stand to watch it any more. What a disgusting show that was.

There are a few genetic conditions where a baby is born with genitalia which suggest one sex, but the inner DNA is of another sex. If such children are confused and the solution is some surgery to make them the sex they really are, fine.

This transgender thing seems to be some mental condition and most are clearly men or women who decide for crazy reasons to dress like the other sex or even get surgery to look like the other sex.

While most of us chose to ignore such freaks, I don’t like the government taking the side of freaks (because they form a liberal interest group and vote for Democrats) and making a business treat them special under penalty of law. If one is in retail and has a man employee suddenly come in as a cross dresser, the boss should be able to say dress like a man at work and what you do on your free time is not a problem. The boss and business should not have to let a man who looks like a man suddenly wear a dress and heels as the customers would be weirded out. These laws and rules seem to favor trial lawyers as much as the freaks.

There was a survey done last week that went out to all federal workers. They asked the usual Are you happy with your jobs type questions then they asked about sexual orientation.

Seems like they have this all planned out regardless what the general public thinks.

No votes, just leftist/progressive fiends hired by the fedgov making our lives miserable by writing unconstitutional garbage that is somehow a "law". Wanna bet how many of these five are Dems and/or mentally ill sex perverts?

An EEOC spokeswoman says the unanimous ruling from the five-member agency does not create a new cause of action. It clarifies that charges of gender stereotyping are considered claims of sex discrimination under existing law.

The EEOC is the primary agency that interprets and enforces the nation's employment discrimination laws.

Just by protecting one group more you are protecting all other groups less.

They can’t even define ‘transgender” or “gender identity” sufficiently enough for anyone to protest themselves against lawsuits under crazy conditions. Wait until the fines over dress codes start mounting up.

Forget firing them, we should just get rid of the commission itself, since they have no business telling private citizen who they can and can’t make business contracts and transactions with.

To: little jeremiah; All
These EEOC leftists were appointed by Obama; and they made this RULING in response to a lawsuit challenging the law as written to prevent discrimination premised upon SEX (GENDER); e.g. discrimination against men or women.

This US law was supposed to be defended by Attorney General Holder.

I am sure Holder was vigorous in the defense (Mega Barf!!!) So vigorous that the EEOC had to arbitrarily decide the case.

I smell a RAT!!!!

SO, the answer was -to redefine the meaning of SEX and create whole cloth a new sexual identity based upon FEELINGS called in between and or confused or transgendered.

Is this really a surprise? Free Republic warned everyone (see below) that this would happen if the radical LGBT nominee Chai Feldblum was confirmed. But the GOP losers under McConnell let her go through, and now we are paying the dividends of their cowardice...

Thank you for the rest of the story. That explains the “perceived gender” or whatever claptrap was in the article.

Fie on them all.
