Let me tell you a little story.
A year ago this month, Jerome Corsi’s “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” blockbuster was the top-selling book in the nation – weeks before it was even released!
On top of that, Donald Trump was telling everyone who would listen that he couldn’t understand why Barack Obama refused to release his birth certificate.
It was in the midst of all this that I got a call from Corsi one morning. He told me his sources were telling him Obama was so desperate he was going to release a phony birth certificate to quell the controversy.
Within a week or 10 days, Obama did just that.

I don’t mean this post as a personal attack on you, but I am curious...could you explain to me how a forged birth certificate is “crap”? I might misunderstand you, because there are some aspects of this that are crap, like clinging to the belief that somehow this will take down Obama and force him from office.
In that case, I would agree it is crap.
But that is not what this is about. This is about putting a process in place for this election and future elections to ensure that anyone running for higher office is who they say they are, and that they meet the Constitutional requirements for citizenship.
Do you agree or disagree that is a worthy goal?
Perhaps I should narrow it down further with two questions:
1.) Do you think the Birth Certificate is forged? (If you don’t, it would be obvious that you view that subject as “crap”, I expect)
2.) If you DO think it is forged (or have no opinion on the authenticity) then do you think it is important, yes or no?
If your answer to question #2 is “No”, then why don’t you think it important?
The insidious, damaging and corrosive aspect of this is the action of a person in the most important office in this country who would submit a fraudulent, forged document without fear of repercussion, the President of The United States.
If you or I lied under oath in a taped deposition, would we be eligible for prosecution? Do you agree or disagree that the damage done by the former President of the United States, lying under oath, has any bearing on the rule of law?
And if the ostensible head of of the Justice Department was known to submit fraudulent documents such as a birth certificate that had been cobbled together, does that weaken the case for anyone else trying to prosecute someone for identity theft with forged documents?
I take issue with your calling this subject “this crap”. One of the reasons the Left is running roughshod over many aspects of life is because they have bent and broken the rules and the law in so many ways large and small without being challenged, that their version of what is right and lawful in so many aspects is what is being accepted.
I always thought It was odd how much emphasis was put on the birth certificate, with little focus on the fact obama’s father was not an American.
What is this?

How Hussein is electable is beyond my comprehension.
I have been working with image editing of all types using Photoshop since around 1992, and have a fair understanding of the issues.
The document is clearly, undeniably and unarguably faked.
And an amateurishly faked one, too. They use the same kind of techniques that will pass muster if someone asks to see the document, examines it for a few seconds (such as at a checkpoint or such) but it is almost disturbing that someone on their team would release a document like that for public scrutiny that they knew people would be examining in detail.
I frame this issue in terms of the rule of law, and Obama is at the top of that chain, leading it (supposedly). If he can break the law with impunity, then the rule of law means nothing, and we are doomed as a republic.
That is how I frame it. Anyone who thinks this is not important is mistaken.
Because it take the Senate to convict. It will never happen.

Well, November 5, 2008 was was a watershed event for me . When I woke up that morning to my clock radio and heard the news, I was stunned.
As bad (and I do mean bad) a candidate as McCain was, I never thought the American electorate would elect a man who had the connections and associations that Obama has.
Just knowing Bill Ayers or having sat in "Reverend" Wright's racist church would likely have been enough to completely disqualify him as a candidate.
To put it another way, prior to 1992, there is no way he would have even got a security clearance of any kind to have anything to do with the White House. (The Clintons fixed THAT for posterity as Gary Aldrich demonstrates in his book "Unlimited Access".)

The "easily manipulated" description more aptly applies to those who don't question Obama's bizarre actions in regard to this issue.
...However, I also think that if it could be demonstrated unequivocally that the document is a fake, Obama, or Soetoro or whoever he is, could be removed without impeachment. But that would take a determination of the Supreme Court, and I doubt that will ever happen either.
I agree with you. When he released this forgery, it was as though he was giving those of us who believe in the rule of law the finger. Btw, he has literally done that on many occasions. Does anyone but me find that soooo juvenile?
Right. The issue isn’t how we can bring him down and tear him from office, because that is not going to happen. If he were a Republican, sure. But he is a protected class of liberal (in the eyes of the media and apparently, the Senate) so it simply isn’t going to happen and wasting time thinking it will is a useless form of ideological masturbation.
The issue is: how do we prevent his re-election, and how do we prevent people like him fraudulently gaining the office in the future?
