Hello dear friends. How exciting your plans sound .. I do wish I could be part of it this year but between $$$, health & logistics, well, it wont work this year. I hope you all have safe trips and a wonderful time together, socializing, eating, drinking & of course shooting the bull as well as guns! I will miss doing the photography this year. I am much better at shooting a camera than a gun as it turns out. Y’all stay out of trouble now! Much love from Ohio

"Humble Gunner" needs to do a new video of Achmed the Terrorist. The one he did a few years ago was absolutely insanely funny and Mr. Mom Eaker was great also.
"You-All" have a great time and take a lot of pics and post them on Free Republic. I will see you in 2013 with my BBQ pit and a few things that go bang.

A semi-auto pistol chambers the next round from recoil. If you do not keep a firm grip on the stock of the pistol, some of the energy of the recoil will be expended in moving the pistol in an upward direction. A firm grip will give better feeding for the next round.

One week to the shoot ping!
I spoke with Mr. Schewnske this morning. He has reserved the 25 yard station for our use ~ we can shoot at any of the other stations, but that one will be our “home base”. He said tannerite is acceptable, but in really small doses (like match book size). The price has changed to $15.00/person. Instead of each individual signing a waiver, I will prepare one that all of us can sign.
The BBQ order has been placed, lunch will be ready at 12:30ish. On the menu is brisket, sausage, potato salad, cole slaw and pinto beans.
Recap: For those arriving Thursday, the only thing on the schedule is to chow down on enchilada’s! Friday is tourist day, Friday evening we meet at Capt’n Benny’s at 8:00 p.m. for a fabulous seafood dinner. Saturday morning we meet at Alice Faye’s at 8:00 a.m. for a hearty breakfast, then it is off to the range to shoot tons-o-guns. Lunch will be at the range at 12:30ish. Saturday afternoon is for going to the Seafair or taking a nap. I have no clue what we are eating Saturday night ~ I’m thinking we could snack on appetizers what drinking margaritas!
