Your Kimber looks like a 3” and that is fine with the peppier 9mm cartridge.
Weirdest thing: Our first two Kimbers (.45s) were 3” for me, and 4” for Hubby. We went to the range, and we were both jamming and stove-piping. Not too happy with our very pricy pistols. But we decided to “just try” each others guns.
After we swapped, neither of us ever jammed or stove-piped again. Don’t ask me. I can’t explain it.
It is, and (see Post 602) I’m a little bit worried about that, but I’m going to break it in this week and see what happens. I do hope that the 9mm caliber will be all right. Otherwise, Hubby will have to use the thing. And it’s ‘way too girly for him. ;-)
Just made it back from Colorado safe and sound. Can’t wait for the road trip to Rockport with onyx and finally getting to meet so many great FReepers!!
Woohoo!!
WooHoo!
It will be fine.
I have 9mms shorter than that that work fine.
That is odd.
I lied.
The shortest 9mm I have is 3.12”
Woohoo! I’m lookin’ forward to THAT...but especially getting to meet you guys! :)
Now THAT'S funny! ZOT! ;)
I’m practically packed. LOL!
...sorta.... :)
If it doesn't rain today, I'll let you know later on how it works for me.
We have the backstop in our backyard range, but we haven't built the kiosk or shooting table yet.
This is going to be epic! I’m very happy about being able to meet all my FReeper friends and their friends.
I emptied one mag. The sights need to be adjusted, and Hubby is really good at it. The gun has a good feel, barely kicks at all, and is just generally great. I’ll shoot a few more mags, ask Hubby to adjust the sights, give it a good cleaning, and all will be well.
Very good.
Sounds like you’ll be rock and rolling in no time.
Zombie Garden Gnome targets for Bittygirl.
Check
Maybe so. In Waco perhaps.
