On another note, I really don’t see an adverse issue with George getting on the stand and apologizing. On the contrary, I think it helped him.
In “normal” situations I would agree that a defendant could hang himself doing this but I think George got a big boost out of it.It came across as bold and the right thing to do.

Yeah, but they weren’t a big shock to me. The wounds were evident in the enhanced video taken of Zimmerman at the police station, and the wounds were documented by police, emergency medical staff, and hospital staff. The wounds were never really in question except in the minds of the “justice for Trayvon” tards.

the state’s attorney expects this to be a walk in the park due to all the political pressure and they got caught off guard. I would really hate to be the judge in this case because they’ll become the next Ito.
The case seems like garbage but since they don’t want riots, they need to continue until Zimmerman walks and they blame the white judge, white jury, white attorney, and white hispanic guy.
They really effed up by bowing to the pressure, now there no way out. Expect riots.
This looks so bad for the State that anyone on stage had best not say anything in court that they have documentation showing is a lie.
Lying in court about Zimmerman’s medical report after the incident when they have it as part of the police report - strike one.
When a prosecutor and law enforcement are willing to answer to the threats of a racist mob and seek racial injustice, they open up a new can of whoop azz on themselves. If racists at the DOJ in some way threatened and forced the police and state prosecutor to pursue injustice in the name of the mob’s race hate, there should be trouble for those involved there, too.
Nifong sought injustce against the lax players to benefit himself in an election. This prosecutor is doing the same thing.
Not sure, but as you have become well aware following this case we should find out in a week or so.

I think George getting on the stand to express his sorrow for the parents’ (he didn’t really “apologize” nor should he have, as their son’s death was his own fault) turned out well for him, but it could have been disatrous.
When he opened up the door by taking the stand, the prosecutor worked hard to confuse him, to get him to incriminate himself, contradict his prior statements, or perjure himself, but GZ was an outstanding witness. I think 90% of witnesses in his place would have said something that would hurt their case, but GZ was very smart and cool and understood the importance of, and paid attention to, small details.
For example, when the prosecutor tried to pin him down on which police officer he expressed his sorrow for Martin’s family to, and what he said, he calmly stated that he couldn’t recall verbatim what he had said and that all the different officers had become blended to him, so he wasn’t sure which ones he said it to.
Whenver he was sure of a detail, he clearly expressed that certainty, but when he was less sure, spoke much more generally.
At one point the prosecutor said something like, “So you said it to the detectives?” and he replied that he didn’t know if they were detectives or not, and the prosecutor had to rephrase it to “officers”. He is very precise about words and details which makes him a great witness and very difficult to trip up.
The fact that he is 100% innocent probably helps, as well.

If Mr Zimmerman was given a lesser charge, then all hell would have broken loose two hours ago. They’re just trying to put off any riots.
Mr Zimmerman is going through hell right now. It is dark for him. If we could see the spiritual world right now, I’d say his angels are fighting a battle for him and protecting him.
Mr Zimmerman WILL come out victorious.

I’ll have to dissagree respectufully- nothign is goign to placate the left and black comunit- infact any attempts, as we saw today, will just further infuriate the left, andm ake htem dig in their heels even further- and when the black comunity and hte left get angry, spinelss right prosecutors buckle under to the pressure- as we’vealso seen with the false arrest of zimmerman

I do hope you’re right, but I have my doubts- evwery lawyer strongly advises their clients to refrain from testimony for a reason- it’s soudn advice, than unfortunately, not mayn peopel heed to their own detriment
BUT he signed it as being accurate....He needs to get a lawyer or face perjury/filing a false report.
