NYT: Escort Recounts Quarrel With Secret Service Agent
New York Times ^ | April 16, 2012 | WILLIAM NEUMAN

CARTAGENA, Colombia — A Secret Service agent preparing for President Obama’s arrival at an international summit meeting and a single mother from Colombia who makes a living as a high-priced escort faced off in a room at the Hotel Caribe a week ago over how much he owed her for the previous night’s intercourse. “I tell him, ‘Baby, my cash money,’ ” the woman said in her first public comments on a spat that would soon spiral into a full-blown scandal.

The dispute — he offered $30 for services she thought they had agreed were worth 25 times that — triggered a tense early morning struggle in the hallway of the posh hotel involving the woman, another prostitute, Colombian police officers arguing on the women’s behalf and American federal agents who tried but failed to keep the matter — which has shaken the reputation of the Secret Service — from escalating.

Sitting on a couch in her living room wearing a short jean skirt, high-heeled espadrilles and a tight spandex top with a plunging neckline, the woman described how she and a girlfriend were approached by a group of American men at a discotheque. In an account that tracked with the official version of events coming out of Washington, but could not be independently confirmed, she said the men bought a bottle of Absolut vodka for the table and when that was finished bought a second one.

“They never told me they were with Obama,” she said. “They were very discreet.”

I’ll bet he wishes he’d paid. What’s that old saying about penny-wise, pound foolish?

“She was dismayed, she said, that the news reports have described her as a prostitute as though she walked the streets picking up just anyone.”

Here again, we have an other example of the MSM tearing down the reputation of an upstanding citizen.

"It was in this one-story, windowless, brick building with a cheesy neon sign on top . . ."

[Pley Club in Cartagena]

"that 11 Secret Service agents assigned to protect the President ended up embarrassing their country all for a little fun and flesh, local sources told the Daily News."

"Despite the newspaper report, confirmed by locals, Juan Carlos, manager of the club, insisted as far as he knows, the agents never set foot in his premises."

His supervisor should have paid. $750 is a pittance compared to the size of the INVESTIGATION into this fiasco.

Again, I’m guessing Putin and Hugo Chavez set this up to steal some blackberries and some laptops.

You know what? This is from the New York Times. Every single word I have ever seen emanate from that cesspool of deceit and propaganda, has been a lie (or severely distorted).

Based on this one report from them, I am now beginning to doubt the entire affair (so to speak).

She was dismayed, she said, that the news reports have described her as a prostitute as though she walked the streets picking up just anyone.

Poor thing. This is what the war on women has caused - perfectly nice escorts being treated as if they were just regular street walking prostitutes.

Oh shucks. Wait for the details of the hookers being with the military dog teams. Fun. Bring back hooker, have sex with them in your room with your dogs. Joy.

This agent doesn't seem very aware of the ways of the world...you always pay the girl or negotiate an acceptable compromise...

There is something going on that nobody is talking about IMHO

As to the question of "WHO" was setting the secret service up - there are ample possibilities including (via free republic):
"double jeopardy in the region - Arab-Islamic nationalism and prostitution

Syrian / Lebanese Arab immigration into the area is more concentrated in 'Barranquilla, Cartagena, Santa Marta, and Maicao.' The bordering city with Venezuela - Maicao (Col) market is probably 90% Arab.

Though not all Arabs in south America are "political," and some are not Muslim, yet, the Arab-Islamic Hezbollah growing phenomenon in Latin America -in recent years- certainly sharpened Arab nationalism which is today very militant-Islamic in nature. A 2008 drug probe finds Hezbollah financing link and a 2009 report shows Hezbollah has active cell on Colombia-Venezuela border.

So did Chavez's anti-Americanism, exploiting it, and embedding it into his "anti-Imperialism" sentiments. His pro-Arabism showed such strength that in 2009, a Kuwaiti MP "called to move Arab League to Venezuela." Stating he "has proved that he was more Arab than some Arabs."

His government's Justice Minister Tarek El Aissami, who is of Arab descent expelled Israeli ambassador in 2009. Hugo Chavez had illegally given more than 270 Venezuelan passports to Arab extremists

Last but not least: Hezbollah has been using prostitution (Muta) for recruitment, especially since the "holy" Islamic Hezbollah's Militarization of Sex - Hezbollah's halal hookups
