Ted Nugent Declares ‘I Will Either Be Dead or in Jail’ if Obama Is Re-elected
Hollywood Reporter ^ | 4/17/2012 | Jordan Zakarin

Ted Nugent is hitting the pavement for GOP president hopeful Mitt Romney. The rocker called for attendees of the National Rifle Association’s convention to go out and recruit thousands of people to vote for Romney in the coming election. Nugent said, ”Our government is wiping its a– with the Constitution.” During an on-site interview, he also told the crowd, ”We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution. Does everybody here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense? That sounds like a stoned hippie. That doesn’t sound like a Supreme Court anything.” The musician went on to say: ”If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.” A representative for Nugent didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

You wrote, “I don’t get it: Romney is more liberal than even Obama yet Ted is supporting Romney.”

Step away from the computer. Take a nap. Then read again what you have written.

You might just want to end your post with “I don't get it.” That would be a vast improvement.

This may be the worst post I've read on here in months.

Depends on if we can hold the House and re-take the Senate. That'd go a long way toward reigning the POTUS in.

The way the GOP appears to be intent on handing power back to the Dems? I'm not placing any wagers with Atlantic City just yet...

Gotta love Ted..

No, I don’t.

This is the kind of crude talk I expect from the left:

”Our government is wiping its a– with the Constitution.”

See my tagline.

I've always voted Republican, and for the past decade at least, the MAIN reasons to vote Repblican are to vote AGAINST:

-- Nationalized health care
-- Taxpayer subsidized abortion on-demand
-- "Eco tyranny" cap-and-trade global warming regulation
-- Forced acceptance of the homosexual agenda
-- The appointments of liberal activist judges

Romney's documented record shows that he is not only for ALL those things, he has been an agent of promoting them!!! Voting for Romney is as nuts as voting for Obama.

I urge patriots to RECOGNIZE the panic scare tactics of "The sky is falling -- Obama is all-powerful; we can't survive him so you cannot reject a Republican just because he betrays EVERY SINGLE CONSERVATIVE VALUE." It is a Chicken Little fear tactic that is CERTAIN, more certain than the consequences of an Obama 2nd term, to make things infinitely worse because Republicans would be authorizing the Republican party to adopt liberal stances on all five of those major issues. Again, voting for Romney is as nuts as voting for Obama.

I urge patriots to vote ABOOR in order to make sure that whichever socialist wins, Obama or Romney, gets in by the most disparaging plurality possible. When a president enters office with the majority of the recorded votes OPPOSED to him, it damages his political viability and makes his opposition both more motivated and more powerful. Clinton won with 43% of the vote (57% of Americans voted AGAINST him), and he got his ass handed to him in the mid-terms.

If it ends up O vs R, OUR ONLY HOPE is to vote such that whichever clown wins, is made as politically weak as possible; the lower his plurality, the weaker he is.

Yeah - that's the ticket.

It really doesn't matter who is President.

We don't really care about the cabinet, the Supreme Court, that Commander-in-Chief power, the Czar teams, or all those embedded minions in the EPA, DOJ, HHS, BLM, etc.

Four MORE years of Obama would be MUCH worse. A nightmare! ...

... says knee-jerk panicked "conventional wisdom." And "conventional wisdom" is usually an oxymoron.

Set fear aside, muster courage, and think clearly. If Obama is re-elected with a ridiculously low plurality -- it could even be 34%, or 66% of votes cast IN OPPOSITION TO HIM, then four more years would be more difficult for Obama than for America because limited government conservatism will have won a major battle in the Republican party, ALL opposition to Obama in BOTH parties would be empowered, and Congress would go HARD RIGHT in the mid-terms.

On the other hand, if Romney won, Congress would go left, we'd still get nationalized health care, abortion on demand funded by WE the taxpayers, cap-and-trade global warming eco-tyranny, the homosexual agenda shoved down our throat, and a 75% probability of activist liberal judges on the SC. But that's the LEAST of what would happen under Romney: Because he was a Republican elected by Republicans, moderates and liberals in the Republican party AND Democrats would become more powerful, and the only source of opposition to big government statism, GOP conservatives, would be squelched.

STOP panicking and START THINKING.

I wish we were getting somebody besides Romney; and if the Republican establishment succeeds in cramming him down our throats and, like John McCain, he limps to defeat, it’ll be too late to revolt against the RNC. Maybe already is.

You’re right. You DON’T get it.

NO YOU don't get it. According to many here at FR, four more years of obama, is less important than NOT voting for Romney, because his a lying CINO.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Vote principles in the primaries, and practicality in the general. It not like your personal salvation; it's ok to pick the lesser of two evils in the general election

Personally, I think much of the anti-Romney ado on FR, at this point, is due to the fact that some people made comments thinking Mitt had no way of winning (oh, if only it would have been...sigh)and now they are stuck either voting against obama (by voting for Romney), or looking like hypocrites.

Calm down. You are being irrational.

Excuse me. It's the people who have allowed themselves to become frightened into blind panic by attributing Godlike powers to Obama who are being irrational and who need to calm down.

Unless they do, they'll be voting TO make the Republican party adopt liberal positions on all the major issues. Now THAT, my FRiend, is the opposite of rational.

Voting for Romney in the general is the antithesis of practical, unless you are thinking of practical suicide.

Anyone seen any bumperstickers reading, “Da Bro’ Gotta Go!”?

In this part of the world, it eventually would lead to you being roommates with George Zimmerman.

GJMY: “I don’t get it: Romney is more liberal than even Obama yet Ted is supporting Romney.”

CSM: You’re right. You DON’T get it.

I get it: CSM, like many conservative Republicans, has allowed himself to be manipulated by fear into voting FOR all the things he is against. I think GJMY and I get it pretty well.
