Poll: Scott Walker Opens Up Lead on Opponents (PPP Poll)
National Review Online - The Corner ^ | April 16, 2012 | Christian Schneider

Ever wonder what it takes to sanitize a Daily Kos post of all the snark and pompous windbaggery? We found out today, when their very own poll showed Wisconsin governor Scott Walker opening up a lead on his two primary Democratic opponents in the pending June 5 recall election. (One imagines the Daily Kos author typing that post while looking like Sylvester the Cat having swallowed a bag of alum.)

I think this recall election is more important than the POTUS.

Your right. It is.

Unless Newt pulls off an upset the POTUS will be a race between two socialist liberals.

WI is a race between a true conservative and a socialist liberal.

I think it is, too. Walker, unlike most Republicans on the national level, is someone worth supporting. He makes a campaign promise, follows through with it, and fights through the consequences. Could you imagine the reaction of, say, John Boehner, the first time he saw TV images of protests in Madison? He’d be curled up in a corner blubbering and blowing snotbubbles.

If Walker goes down it will be over in terms of fighting the public sector unions and us tax payers will have to bend over when the pension tsunami hits. Also, if Walker can withstand this he will be POTUS material for 2016 when Willard goes down this November.

Saw a Wisconsin-plated car with a “Recall Walker” sticker on an Interstate this past weekend. All I could think is “look at that greedy union socialist parasite driving it”.

LOL. I’m trying to imagine the same for perky Katie Couric!

If Willard goes down in November in 2012, it won't matter who runs fir POTUS in 2016. By that time, it will be game, set, and match for the US of A. Everything that follows Obama in 2016 will just be rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

If Obozo wins there will be no POTUS election in 2016. Match set and game over.

Of course it is.

We have no choice for POTUS, so it’s Obama part II.

What is the official site for donating to Scott Walker’s campaign?

I’m trying to avoid Leftist spoofs.

It's about time he opened up a can on his opponents. :-)

Funny, since WI went decidedly conservative a couple of years ago, I see story after story on FR about how successful the state has been. Lower unemployment. Lower taxes. More business coming in. And so on.

Elections have consequences. Which, I'm sure, has been completely lost on the MSM.

By my scoring, it was probably game set match at some point in the Republican primary. We need a president who can lead a u-turn. I don’t see Mitt doing this—I see him leading a significant portion of the GOP in continuing us in the wrong direction. If, by some miracle, there is something salvageable left in 2016, it would be good if we could have Walker or some one like him to try a u-turn. If he has to take on Mitt in the primary, this probably isn’t going to happen.

I just got back from a little cruise through the Kos neighborhood. The comments are hysterical. There really are some very, very stupid people out there.

If Obama stays for another four years, Obamacare will be fully implemented; his czars will have effectively shut down our economy thru regulation; out of control spending will continue to keep the welfare state treading water a little while longer; the national debt will be over $20 trillion; and his backdoor amnesty plus legal immigration will continue to change rapidly the demographics of this country making the Dems the permanent majority party. By 2019, half of the children 18 and under will be minorities as defined by the USG and by 2039 half of the country will be minorities.

This country is already in decline, but Obama will hasten it to the point that no one will be able to retrieve it. We have created a massive culture of dependency where almost 50% of the people pay no income taxes; 46 million are on food stamps; 60 million on Medicaid; 54 million on SS and 47 million on Medicare. Those numbers will continue to increase due to an aging population and Obamacare will add 18 million to Medicaid. Obamacare was the final nail in the coffin. Obama and his Marxist allies were brilliant knowing that once Obamacare was passed, there was no turning back.

"Walker himself didn’t have a bad week, either.. a report issued by Walker’s administration showed that due to his package of government-employee reforms, property taxes in the state have decreased for the first time in twelve years. Democrats countered this news by accusing Walker’s spokeswoman of once working at Hooters."

The leftists never fail to amuse.

Walker, and a few other Republicans, are the best thing in the party today. In fact Gov. Walker may be the best man in America right now!

Suggest you call Walker’s office and ask them for the proper address. You are right to worry about lefty spoofs. I donated a while ago but I don’t remember the exact name and I think it was for supporting checkers for the ridiculous petition signatures.
