Mr. R., my just turned 18 year old son will vote for the FIRST time on April 24 in the PA Primary. He has made up his own mind...and is voting for Rick Santorum. At his young age he KNOWS Romney is no conservative and won’t be a conservative President.

(And if it’s not a hot day, he and his buddies are all planning to wear sweater vests—drives several of their unionista teachers crazy).

I still hope and pray that Newt has a chance of winning..I think if Santorum gives Newt his delegates then he has a great chance of winning, between Romney and Newt I think Newt comes out the winner, but we will see. I of course will vote for Newt in the upcoming primary(If only others would do the same he would not be so far behind)
For some reason Palin always gets targeted when she says something that others in the GOP have already said. It’s NOT her fault that Romney is leading. Yes the Establishment chose him but the Establishment didnt make people go to the polls in these primaries and vote for him, people did.
Sarah Palin has said for months(I guess many have missed her earlier interviews) that she will support whoever the nominee is. What she said last night to Sean Hannity is no different then the things that she has said for months, whoever the nominee is she backs that person. I doubt she would ever campaign for Romney since even when she talks about him you can see in her body language she doesn’t like the guy, but she will support him if he is the nominee.
The things that I have read from some people on this forum calling Palin “Pro abortion” is one of the most disgusting things I have seen..she is NOT pro abortion! She had a child knowing he would have down syndrome for God’s sake she lives and breathes pro life so when I hear someone call her “Pro abortion” because she will support whoever the nominee is, makes me sick to my stomach.
No matter what happens, Newt Gingrich was my 2nd choice for President(Of course Sarah was my 1st) and if there is the tiniest chance that he still has a chance of bouncing back, Newt can do it..so until one person has the required number of delegates to have the nomination..GO NEWT!! He has my vote already locked in June(I hate late primaries :(

I cannot vote for Romney either.

I continue to pray for Divine Intervention and for Newt Gingrich.

I think Romney would be better for the economy for the next four years than Obama.

Oh man, are you wearing your asbestos underwear because you're about to get flamed, LOL!

But we cannot survive the total abandonment of the principles of the Declaration of Independence by those who call themselves “conservatives.”

Amen. Romney and the feckless GOP can go suck pond water. Why conservatives should settle for an anointed liberal pro abortionist, gun grabbing scum to replace the current one with a (D) label is beyond me.

I had been genuinely unaware before this primary season that the Republican Establishment hates Newt Gingrich.

Point in his favor.

Our country has been thru alot and she remains the greatest country in the world.

I refuse to believe that a skinny failure like obama can destroy a mighty nation. The people are awake thanks to obama opening our eyes to his socialist plans. He cannot and will not be allowed to wreak more havoc than he already has.
ROMmel is not the person to take his place. We need someone with the knowledge and the same deep love of country that we conservatives share. Someone with respect for the constitution. Someone who loves God and country. I believe with all my heart that is Newt and I pray he is the nominee.

BRAVO!!! Thank you Jim! For once someone who has the guts to say what we all think. The Gop treats us like sh%$t because they know that we will ALL vote for mccain or romney so we will not be accused of "giving a vote" to obama.

And that's exactly why every single election year they force a liberal on us - BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY NO MORE!!!

This time - NOT ME - done with voting for guys like maccain (I voted for Sarah) who told us that obama was not dangerous "he is a nice guy". Thank you very much.

Until we decide to lose an election because we will NOT take it anymore of the Gop rules, they will keep on forcing those losers on us. AND WE WILL LOSE AGAIN in 2012 with romney.

Sarah, sorry, but this time I will NOT vote for romney. NO WAY!!! Whatever will happen, I am done with the gop. May be they will finally understand - I doubt it - that we are conservatives. We wanted Sarah, or Newt and they put down both of them. Newt helped a bit I must admit but still, the gop never supported him anyway.

So that's it. I will wait for Sarah to build the new 3rd party. We GOT to send the Gop the way of the Whigs. It's the only way to save our country. The only way.

Well I voted for Newt in Mississippi’s primary and I agree with you completely. If it goes to Tampa and we are called to battle by Newt or another Conservative... if it goes that direction... either way... I will be there.

Total agreement.

Also note what the Dem’s ABB wrought. Now a number of them quit rather than go into a reelection bid with him as Prez.

But the Romney voters here seem to miss that. Among a thousand other things. Like his actual record. It’s amazing. In 3 threads now, each begun with an admonishment against backing Romney on FR, what do people keep doing?

Why....backing Romney on FR!!!

And making excuses why Their brand of support isn’t ‘Realllllyyyyy’ support support. Whoopie would be proud. And just like Bill Clinton did when caught with his pants down. That wasn’t really ‘sex’ after all.

Yes, I think a President Romney would be much more dangerous than Obama. President Romney could pass his socialist agenda on a bipartisan vote.

So why aren’t there attempts to get RINO Romney disqualified since he’s not a natural born citizen ?

This would get rid on Romney, and push Gingrich to the top.

Also it would shine a light on the natural born citizen requirement for ALL presidential candidates......
