A reminder for those who are not receiving the message:

Romney is a pathological compulsive liar. Lie after lie papered over with more lies. Doesn’t even flinch when caught in bald faced lies, simply tells another big whopper to cover up or dodge the issue. Funny thing, the man actually seems to believe his own latest lies and simply ignores the glaring record of his past actions/lies. And you have true blue establishment elite RINO Republicans like Karl Rove enabling and backing up his lies. Their motivation is simply to hang on to power (and riches) any way they can.

I’ve stated many times since Romney started running for the presidency way back when that I’d never vote for him and I will not. He cannot lie his way out of his decades long record of support for abortion, Roe v Wade, planned parenthood, gay rights, gun control, global warming, amnesty, liberal judges, big government, compulsory or socialized health care (RomneyCommieCare), mandates, Keynesian economics, support and approval of TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, i.e, every damn liberal progressive issue that comes down the pike.

C’mon. These are the reasons the tea party sprang up and the reasons he and Rove loathe the tea party and our tea party conservative candidates. Romney famously expressed his loathing for Reagan-Bush conservatism several years ago when he was trying to run to the left of Ted Kennedy and now he’s cloaking himself in Reagan conservatism, knowing full well that it’s a lie, but he knows it’s the only way he can possibly win, er buy the Republican nomination.

Screw Romney!! I absolutely will not support or vote for a proven compulsive liar with a known record of abortion and big government socialism, liberal appointments, etc. He still lies about RomneyCommieCare today. Calls it a “conservative solution.” Get real!!

Listen to what Ronald Reagan had to say about the elites pushing socialism on America via compulsory health insurance:

Ronald Reagan speaks out against RomneyCommieCare

There will be no campaign for this Massachusetts liberal liar on FR!!

Damn the libs and RINOS, full steam ahead!!

But no matter what happens we must turn out in November to vote IN as many conservatives and vote OUT as many rats as possible at all levels of government. If we don't have a conservative at the top of the ticket we must turn out anyway and vote straight conservative DOWN ticket!! Just think of it an off cycle election and pour on the TEA!! It'll be doubly important that we control both houses of congress and as many statehouses as possible.

Restore the 10th amendment!! Impeach the leftist president whoever he may be!! Restore Liberty!! Rebellion comes from the bottom up!!

WOO HOO!! I CAN SEE NOVEMBER FROM MY HOUSE!!

No Bama!! No Romney!! Go tea party rebellion!!

Photobucket It is if romney is chosen. He is just another teleprompter dependent candidate without conviction as he proved today. Newt always speaks with conviction and from the heart. He doesn't need a speech writer and teleprompter to tell him what he SHOULD say.

Gingrich was ahead by being positive and then Romney stormed with negative ads.

I will NEVER vote for that Romney jerk.

Imaginary situation: A man is before a firing squad. His captor steps forward.

“Do you wish to be killed with blue bullets or with pink bullets?”

The man responds, “I choose neither.”

His captor says, “But if you do not choose the blue bullets, then you will be shot with the pink ones.”

“I choose neither.”

Those in the crowd begin to murmur, “That fool is opting to be shot with pink bullets! How stupid! He is insane!”

What about us today? Will we choose the blue bullets or the pink bullets? I choose neither.

Vote Constitution Party ....

The Constitution Party's choice this year is just as much a liberal as Romney. No point in trading one for another.

Legitimate points, but I don’t think the answer is to stay home.

Then it becomes a self fulfilling prophesy.

I see Mittens as a salesman. A good one, too. He’s learned it as a Mormon missionary. Smile and agree, smile and agree. Then sell. That’s how he’s sold himself to the primary voters,I suspect, by smiling and agreeing. He doesn’t appear to believe much in anything, and I wonder if that’s the Mormon way. I mean, do they really believe than Jesus and Lucifer are brothers? So, even if in business dealings he’s a tough conservative SOB, in politics our smiling and agreeable Bishop goes along with the establishment which in state and in the nation capitals is decidedly liberal. He ain’t getting my vote.

Well, it’s certainly an interesting election year here on Free Republic.

It is surprising that some people are calling you insane on your own website. I’d like to believe that’s the affectionate “you must be crazy” we all hear from our friends sometimes.

As to this election thing, the nominee isn’t Romney yet but I will vote for the nominee, probably not even excluding Ron Paul. After all we are free to vote or not as we please.

Jim, the interest in voting for conservatives down ticket is an important one, but the fact is most people show up or don’t show up based on the presidential election. If people don’t show up for the main nominee, many are not going to the polls that day.

I’m sure many of us have dreaded this day because we love FR and it was obvious the hatred of Romney wasn’t going away. That meant if he is the nominee many conservatives can’t as effectively oppose Obama here. Obama is an evil blot on this nation, because the left and democrats are a shadow over this land.

There is no solution to this dilemna so I hope we all can still have a civil discussion.

It is my opinion that if Romney does get the nomination and he does defeat Obama, we can put up a conservative candidate to primary him in 2015-2016 and then sort all of this out..

for now. I think we have to first fire Obama and keep congress/take senate before we do anything else. Then go from there..

It is like a baseball team thats fires its manager. first an intrim manager is installed and then a better guy is hired the next season

If Obama is elected, then it’s game over.

IMHO it's game over already and we just don't know it yet. Economically we have past the point of no return. We can't recover from 16 Trillion in debt and 100 Trillion in unfunded mandates. It's just mathematically impossible. Socially we have past the tipping point where over half of the people rely on the other have to produce. The Rats are taking us over the cliff at 100 mph (in a Volt), the GOP is taking us over the cliff at 80 mph. the end result is the same.

You do realize, of course, that Romney has already started work on his national healthcare task force to impose RomneyCare-like socialist healthcare programs on the citizens of all 50 states at the state level? He still brags that his baby is a “free market conservative solution” to the nation’s healthcare woes. He’s already recruited Pam Bondi of Florida for the task force and he and she agree that RomneyCare is constitutional and would be a great solution and she boasts that they have 26 states already lined up to go.

Think I’m kidding:

http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/bondi/index?tab=articles

This is betrayal and conflict of interest of the highest order. Bondi is leading the effort to bring down ObamaCare as unconstitutional yet she praises and wants to install RomneyCare!! They’re functionally the same damn thing!!

Well, you are not a big fat hypocrite, which is unique in politics today.

After all the yapping and organizing I have done for the Tea Party here in Texas, no way can I now say “vote for the other socialist guy who invented Obamacare!”

Romney is too radical in the opposite direction, in not just one or two areas of disagreement, but EVERYTHING. I would have to lie like a rug to promote him. I can’t even change the subject to something good about him in a debate. Unbelievable.

NO RINO supporting or violence in posts

Well, since every single candidate was trashed here as a RINO over the course of the past year, that rule would make for pretty sparse reading.

Jim,

Please remind everyone that while we will not vote for mittens for president, we should not stay at home on election day.

We should go to the polls on election day because there are other elections, state and local, that will be taking place on that day, and those elections are critically important to growing conservative presence in elective office.

Moreover, we should appreciate that by voting in state elections we are doing something to take the Senate and to hold the House.

This action alone makes voting essential if we wish to keep the Supreme Court. It may be reasonably expected the Big Zero WILL have to make another appointment and hopefully, if we take the Senate, we can at least have SOME influence when it comes to blocking his socialist/liberal nominations—all it takes is ONE committed conservative.

Thanks for listening.

We have the ability to push Romney to the right; We need to use that power.

What it the name of all that is good decent are we going to use? They don't make Cat D-9’s that powerful. If we hold his feet to the fire all that will happen is his shoes will catch fires and join his pants in the inferno.

What in the world is a long drawn out campaign with everyone screaming at him he isn't conservative, but a ‘push’ to the right. I don't think you can really push someone to the right- it's a matter of core principals and those shouldn't be very changeable.
