We will not waste our limited resources on FR in support for a liberal progressive LIAR

A reminder for those who are not receiving the message:

Romney is a pathological compulsive liar. Lie after lie papered over with more lies. Doesn’t even flinch when caught in bald faced lies, simply tells another big whopper to cover up or dodge the issue. Funny thing, the man actually seems to believe his own latest lies and simply ignores the glaring record of his past actions/lies. And you have true blue establishment elite RINO Republicans like Karl Rove enabling and backing up his lies. Their motivation is simply to hang on to power (and riches) any way they can.

I’ve stated many times since Romney started running for the presidency way back when that I’d never vote for him and I will not. He cannot lie his way out of his decades long record of support for abortion, Roe v Wade, planned parenthood, gay rights, gun control, global warming, amnesty, liberal judges, big government, compulsory or socialized health care (RomneyCommieCare), mandates, Keynesian economics, support and approval of TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, i.e, every damn liberal progressive issue that comes down the pike.

C’mon. These are the reasons the tea party sprang up and the reasons he and Rove loathe the tea party and our tea party conservative candidates. Romney famously expressed his loathing for Reagan-Bush conservatism several years ago when he was trying to run to the left of Ted Kennedy and now he’s cloaking himself in Reagan conservatism, knowing full well that it’s a lie, but he knows it’s the only way he can possibly win, er buy the Republican nomination.

Screw Romney!! I absolutely will not support or vote for a proven compulsive liar with a known record of abortion and big government socialism, liberal appointments, etc. He still lies about RomneyCommieCare today. Calls it a “conservative solution.” Get real!!

Listen to what Ronald Reagan had to say about the elites pushing socialism on America via compulsory health insurance:

Ronald Reagan speaks out against RomneyCommieCare

There will be no campaign for this Massachusetts liberal liar on FR!!

Damn the libs and RINOS, full steam ahead!!

But no matter what happens we must turn out in November to vote IN as many conservatives and vote OUT as many rats as possible at all levels of government. If we don't have a conservative at the top of the ticket we must turn out anyway and vote straight conservative DOWN ticket!! Just think of it an off cycle election and pour on the TEA!! It'll be doubly important that we control both houses of congress and as many statehouses as possible.

Restore the 10th amendment!! Impeach the leftist president whoever he may be!! Restore Liberty!! Rebellion comes from the bottom up!!

WOO HOO!! I CAN SEE NOVEMBER FROM MY HOUSE!!

No Bama!! No Romney!! Go tea party rebellion!!

Well, I think you hit a reset button for the fall campaign.
Everything changes. It's almost like an Etch a Sketch.
You can kind of shake it up and we start all over again.

Newt isn’t out yet, so can’t we at least hold off the recriminations until we are actually stuck with Romney?

NEWT is ABO. Newt was always my choice. I think it is a crime the way he has been treated.

ABO means what it means. Anybody but Obama. That includes Newt. But since this thread has turned into some kind of harsh 'FU' thread, it seems pointless to continue.

This is not a discussion, it is a tantrum.

“I’d vote for just about anyone to bid adieu to President Worse-Than-Carter, Lyndon Johnson, and FDR combined. Are you insane?”

And you will have spun the hamster wheel and gotten nowhere. Right now, the Democrats anneal the iron and the Republicans quench it, but those two partners are in the same workshop forging our chains.

The way I see it... he is either very very liberal and a liar or he has no principles at all.

Neither of these is endearing.

The GOP has to face the facts, they cannot win without conservative votes. They are not going to make up the difference by stealing liberal votes, they just won’t. Liberals will stick to the most liberal panderer, Obama, of course.

Why would moderates support a fraud like Romney who has a leftwing record but spouts lines that seem to be written by a Hollywood Hack for a Republican villain “I’m not concerned about the very poor” and “I like firing people”.

The fact is Moderates won’t trust the flip flopper, liberals will stick to Obama and conservatives have no good reason to support him.

It is like he was specially designed to give Obama a big win even during the worst administration in history.

As much as I dislike Romney you would have to be insane not to vote for him if he is the nominee

Why vote for someone who is just as bad as the current ass-clown?

On another thread I posted something similar along with an admonition to not give the enemies within more ammunition but was called a commie by some ignorant knuckle dragger.

Jim I make you look like a liberal and if we are going to throw our hands up for the office of President that is absolutely fine and understandable and certainly lets work to get conservatives in every other office possible but come on, do not give talking points to our enemies in the commie dumbocrap party and in the MSM because you know they will use it against us and the country.

This is a classic case of loose lips sink ships and the enemy is listening.

The best we could do is go into stealth mode when it comes to Mitt as we will not, more than likely have a conservative for the office of president. Silence is golden.

A Romney election will destroy the conservative movement and the country when socialists sweep in 2014 and 2016.

>>. The people are the ones doing the voting and they are nominating the guy they are nominating.

Most people voting in the Republican primary are Republicans. Some are "unenrolled" who can vote in one primary or the other and in a couple states Dems can choose a GOP ballot. So far Mr. Romney has a huge delegate lead and will probably win the nomination.

Republican in Name Only? No, he's a Republican and most people voting for him are Republicans. Conservative in Name Only might be a better nickname (CINO?). The fact is that in many elections, the preferred nominee has been someone like George HW Bush, Bob Dole, George W Bush, John McCain, and now Mitt Romney. Change the nominating process if you must. Or convince the party establishment to go for someone who is totally conservative in your opinion.

What I think is interesting is that on the other side of the aisle I don't really hear too many people saying "I think Obama isn't progressive enough. I won't vote for him, even if it means electing Romney." In 2004 there were a lot more "Democrats for Bush" than "Republicans for Kerry". I have heard the term GOP-e, GOP-establishment. You could try to get an effective real conservative to run and hopefully win. Or you could have them run third party-- and ensure a win for Obama. Can Romney beat Obama? One recent poll says yes.

Which would have been worse:
1) President McCain and Vice President Palin
OR President Obama and Vice President Biden

Which would be worse?
1) President Romney and VP (whomever)
OR 4 more years of The One and Clueless Joe.

Abstain from voting for Romney if you wish, if it helps your conscience and your integrity.

...Four More Years...

"Thanks guys!"

We, on the conservative side, always look at the black vote, scratch out heads, & wonder how it is that so many blacks continue to vote for dems when the policies of the democrat party hurt them so badly.
The dems chuckle and retort, “Where else are they gonna go?”

It seems that the republican establishment has taken the same attitude toward us conservatives - “Where else are they gonna go?”

Well, this conservative (I haven’t identified as a republican since Dole was our “choice”)intends to send them a message -LOUD AND CLEAR - that my vote is NOT to be taken as a given, because I ain’t givin’ it to a RINO.

The more of us who make that choice, the louder & clearer the message. I’m with you, Jim.

I'm not voting for Romney.

But I have friends and family who plan to. People whom I consider conservatives. One of them is the woman I've been married to for thirty years.

I plan to try and talk them out of it.

One thing I do not plan to do is call them "idiots" and tell them to f--- off.
