I think pretty much every FReeper realizes that this is Jim’s forum and that therefore he sets the rules.
But that still leaves the question of what are the rules?
It is almost certain that the Presidential general election will be between Obama and Romney.
Many FReepers who are true-blue conservatives look at that choice and very much prefer for Romney to win rather than Obama. That is just a fact. They are conservative AND they prefer for Romney to win over Obama.
Others despise Romney so much that they are indifferent between the two, or at least they vow that they will not cast a vote for either one. I believe JimRob is in this category.
So what are those who want Romney to beat Obama supposed to do over the next seven months? It is a huge election. There will be many twists and turns. Events, issues, gaffes, polls, debates, etc. Always for the last three Presidential election cycles this place has been very busy. We who want to follow and discuss the election here (just as we have done for over a decade), and who think America will be better off if Obama loses to Romney, need some clear guidance from the top regarding what is or isn’t allowed here.

The rule is very simple and I just reposted it here again for about the millionth time http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2871707/posts. FR is a pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-constitutionally limited government, pro-gun, pro-liberty organization. Romney is none of the above (literally). We will not vote for or support a known abortionist, homosexualist, gun grabbing, big government mandate loving constitution trampling progressive LIAR!! And we will not waste our limited resources on FR for those who wish to defy our strongly held positions or our nations founding principles.
I’ve been posting and reposting this message forever on FR. It’s on our front page and at the top of our main forum page. And every day now I have to post reminder to the thick headed. I’m getting pretty damn impatient with the surrender monkeys and useful idiots who continue slapping me in the face, stomping on my toes and poking me in the eye.
Romney is an offensive evil bastard to me!! Government approved/forced wholesale slaughter of millions the innocent unborn is just about the most evil thing I can think of. And this asshole Romney has we the taxpayers picking up the tab for his evildoing! This is the American Holocaust! Future generations will look back on this era and wonder why decent people didn’t put a stop to this slaughter.

However, I would like to know if people will be banned if they post that 4 more years of Obama will destroy the Republic, and America, as we know it will be gone forever, and that that scenario will not likely happen with Romney.
IOW, are freepers permitted to post the opinion that Romney will not be as bad for America as Obama?
I firmly believe that even Hillary would not have been as bad for America as Obama. I don't think anyone in our history, other than Woodrow Wilson is as horridly anti-American as Obama, and I believe that Obama has actually done more harm in 3 years than any previous President has done.
Will I be banned for saying so, as a pro-life, pro-American, across-the-board conservative? Even if I don't 'support' Romney? (I don't....not even close).
