The guy was a roid head with a small pee pee complex who liked to beat on women. Because he was a vaunted firefighter he thought and did get away with things that average citizens would not.

I can’t believe you’re trying to defend a guy who shot 5 police officers who had a legit reason to roust this guy

“Mutrie was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled drug last May for having a variety of anabolic steroids, court documents show.” per the Union Leader
For your information, an arrest takes place before someone is indicted.

“If they had a warrant to get his firearms after the domestic” Where do you find a “domestic” in this incident?

In NH you don’t need a warrant to take firearms, during a domestic arrest.

Oooh... He was a "roid head". Fine. No trial. Just f*cking shoot him. Constitution be damned... the guy was accused so he must be guilty of something!

Would that be acceptable to you? I hope so, because that is pretty much what happened.

Pretty much what happened was that the police showed up to serve a warrant and this nut opened fire. If he hadn’t then there would have been a trial.

Yes... Let's applaud the brave heroes for enforcing a law the government has ZERO legit authority to make in the first place.

History would be a lot different if that attitude prevailed. For one, we'd still be British subjects.

I’m not applauding anyone.

The question as to whether or steroids or other drugs should be illegal is a separate question. I personally think most should be decriminalized.

But this incident isn’t about policy, it’s about the police serving a legal warrant based on illegal activity. The roid head as I like to refer to him decided that instead of fighting the charges in a courtroom to mow down 5 officers.

I simply can’t defend his actions

No. That question is WHY those officers were at this guys house to begin with. It makes your next statement...

...it’s about the police serving a legal warrant based on illegal activity.

... invalid. If the law itself is illegitimate, as we both apparently agree on, then so is any "enforcement" of those laws.
