I have also made it clear that Sarah, Cain, Santorum, and now Newt were my choices until that point.

Jeff, thank you for that clarification, and thank you for supporting Newt right now.

The GOP is about to make yet another fatal error if they nominate Romney, a man who has never governed as a Republican, is pro-choice,pro- homosexual marriage and whose Romneycare was used as the foundation for Obamacare.

I strongly believe we have one last chance to help the GOP see the error of its ways, and that is tpo support Newt, the last conservative standing, and get him to Tampa with five primary wins so it opens the floor. That is what party conventions are for, and what they have historically been throughout our history.

I had read your posts on this thread, and did not fully understand your position until this post, and that position is consistent with what I know about you.

The act of rebellion right now , to me, is to support Newt and get him to Tampa.

Running around screaming and yelling or accepting defeat with resignation like so many on this thread is not an acceptable course of action, when there is yet an alternative.

Our collective act of rebellion in the remaining primary states can change the course of this historic election.

Our children and grandchildren and their fates are too important to trust to another Obama term.

That is why I am for Newt.

This is all hurting my heart and my head..

Goes with the territory of staying in the fight and when need a second wind.....we're standing at the edge of the Red Sea and the enemy is hot on our heels, with seemingly no where to go.......God's not finished yet....Newt's going to make his play......stand with Newt and let's watch God part the Red Sea.

James, the brother of Jesus, is said to have had knees like a camel from all his kneeling int he Temple. I suspect you wear your ‘stealth worship of milt rominy’ kneepads too tightly. It is interesting that you jumped to a sexual innuendo conclusion without merit. The republican nominee is not yet decided. Conservatives, true conservatives, will work our asses off the next few weeks to blunt the deceits you and folks like you throw into the political arena. Nedwt is the ONLY hope for opposing little barry bastard. Your LDS inc cnadidate is a liar and delusional. Live with it. ... Oh, and Have Nice Day.

You should have kept your arrogant mouth shut, but you couldn't, so now your agenda at FR is exposed the more:

"I’m not a Romney supporter, especially after what he did in Florida to a man I deeply care about. Sadly, I’ll support him because that’s the hand that’s been dealt."

With liars like you supposedly 'working for Newt' it is no wonder he has such an uophill battle to prevent your Milt Rominy from becoming the republican nominee. The hand is still being shuffled yet you keep declaring it is already dealt. Piss on arrogant liars like you and your Rominy high priest.

“Not so with the milk man, Romney,... who will lull a Republican Congress to sleep because he’s ‘their guy’. They will allow him ten times the latitude that they’d allow Obama, simply because he’s sporting the right jersey.”

More nonsense.

Since WHEN has the Republican congress ever stood up to Obama? He made recess appointments when the congress wasn’t even in recess and they did nothing about it except hide under their desks.

There’s no reason to think they would be any more assertive during his second administration.

You missed the point of what Winflier is saying.

If you think Congress is weak against Obama...imagine what they will be if Romney gets in.... Windflier is right...they’ll go to sleep because they see Romney as one of their own and for that won’t lift a finger.

Of course they’ll do nothing...the Representation is as much Democratic as the other side of the aisle...there is no aisle anymore.

Thanks.

If Newt is unable to pull off a brokered convention, I have stated clearly what my intentions are and why.

But, in that event, based on the wishes of FR’s owner, Jim Robinson, a man I have a great deal of respect for, I will not campaign for or mention that support here on FR.

I will use FR to attack Obama and to work at the equally critical task of getting a solid conservative House and Senate for Romney to work with should he win.

These are very dire times as we are all aware. A lot of understandable emotion, frustration, and anger about the situation we face. We all must prayerfully and deeply consider how we approach it and respond to it for the sake of the rising generations.

I believe under any circumstances that another four years of Obama would be the worst disaster this nation has faced since its founding and will do all I can to prevent it.

. No matter who becomes the next President, we definitely need more conservatives in Congress to try and control the agenda.

So true. That is the heart of the matter. When the ObamacareII shows up, we need to be part of the majority that sends it to die in committee. Even if we got 49% of the 51% of the senate, we're still not going to be able to vote Not to mention how so many of our conservative TEA darlings from 2010 have turned around and given us the finger now that they're in the trappings of DC.

Perhaps if there was a way to enforce telecommuting for congresscritters....keep them out of DC much as possible.

What bothers me about this "No way no how, teach the gd gop a lesson!" meme is that in reality it means less support for down ticket conservatives, where the only viable candidate in a district is running as a republican against the local dimocrap.

Elect Romney, on the other hand, and our side won't show near the opposition to his near-identical performance in office. He's 85 mph to Obama's 100. We still wind up in the same place, but with an avowed and transparent despot in office, there will be more OPPOSITION to his transgressions and over-reach. Not so with the milk man, Romney, who will lull a Republican Congress to sleep because he's 'their guy'. They will allow him ten times the latitude that they'd allow Obama, simply because he's sporting the right jersey.

That's the problem. There are no good options.

America will not be recognizable in 4 years. Never to return to greatness. Like Rome ... and barbarians at the gate, invited in and reelected, will have created so may thousands of laws, regulations, controls and suppression , it will not be possible to return to the kinder gentler American way. Read the Bible.

Father God, we repent of the evil we do and have done, forgive us, restore our nation to the former faith and values that followed thy WORD, We are filled with gratitude for the mercy, goodness, and grace offered to us today, in Jesus name, amen.

Now you have left the decision up to her and she might pick the worst one of the two.

To keep the analogy true; the decision always was hers so the father has the choice of a) being honest and giving her the truth that will ring in her ears after her marriage has fallen apart or b) feeding her delusion by giving her an answer that makes everybody feel good for the moment.

If the father does a) she might actually listen to him but if not she will know when it's all over that he was a rock and she can trust his wisdom. If daddy does b) she will learn that his advice is just weak-kneed nonsense said to make her feel good and keep him safe from her criticism.

Don’t leave it blank...for sure the democrates will find a way to fill it in...don’t leave any blanks. Pick a candidate and write them in...you could even vote for Jim Robinson which would make a huge statement far grater than a blank hole.!!!!!!!!

LOL. I thought that exact thing right after I posted my comment. You're right... better fill in the blank. Jim Robinson for POTUS BABY!

my what candidate? my LDS, Inc. candidate?

This is what I mean by the circular firing squad.

I’m voting for the republican candidate for presient because I KNOW that another four years of Obama will lead this country to its demise.

Now that you and so many others calling themselves good Christians and conservatives have totally insulted me to no end and you or the rest of them never asked.........who was my candidate?

Let me tell you who it was. It was that “LDS,Inc.” as you call him, Rick Santorum. If I had to choose, it was Rick. Rick Santorum, who was routinely criticized by the firing squad here for a political misstep, is a good and honorable conservative. HE was routinely trashed here by others who claimed he wasn’t “conservative enough”. What a joke. If Newt is the candidate, HE gets not only my support, but my money, my time and of COURSE my vote. Likewise for ANY repulican candidate. You and the others can sit here and insult, criticize, stomp your feet, have your temper tantrums and hang onto your campaign donations as Obama, Inc. masses BILLIONS in donations and will convince others just like you to “stay home” because the republican candidate isn’t conservative enough........ As for me, I will be working MY “ass” off in order to convince blinded by the media conservatives such as you (IF you’re in a swing state) to get off YOUR behind and work to defeat Obama. If you think Obama’s re-election will bring on some kind of revolution among conservatives (who were totally unable to get behind a candidate), then, YOU, my dear are totally blinded by your own hatred of “LDS, Inc.”.

This has become totally insane. I expect hatred from the left, but from the right?

Now, you have a nice day as well, enjoy the circular firing squad.

Sorry Velveeta, I see your points but I view Obama’s 4-year damage very similarly to Mitt’s 8-year damage.

The end result is a loss of personal freedom.
We are being forced now to vote AGAINST the democrat instead of FOR a republican and that needs to stop now.

The only way we can fix this problem with our government IN THE LONG RUN (<—that’s key) is to show a little tough love to the RNC.

If your child tries to touch a hot stove you tell them “NO!”. If they persist, you let them burn their fingers. It will heal... and then teach a valuable lesson in the process.

A vote for Newt is also a concession. He is very, very far from being a perfect conservative.

So, as all have feet of clay, there really is no candidate worthy of anyone’s vote, and we are right back where we began.

That’s some solution to obama.

She and every other ‘conservative’ can stand and be counted, or not. And live with the fallout of her actions.

She was still pressing for Newt and Paul to stay in the race, so she apparently does not like Romney in the top spot, but she has not advocated open all out support for anyone.

Still I feel she will do as all have promised and it will be ABO, even if it is Romney. I will be voting in Oregon this election so it truly doesn’t matter who I vote for, other's will have to make the decision in their state, where it does matter.

My position has always been clear. Sadly FR was busily attacking their own, when we should have been attacking Romney and the Won, there was no profit in attacking Newt Supporters or Rick supporters, because they would have to become allies at some point. Sadly I still see the insults directed at Santorum, and he is no longer in the race.

McCain is bought and paid for by Soros. He tried to arm muzzie terrorists in Kosovo, pushed for ground troops in Libya and wants us to go in to Syria. He authored the most anti-Constitutional bill ever made a law. He gutted laws that protect American POWs. He did more to push for cap&trade laws than any Algore ever dreamed of doing. McCain is the poster boy for Shamnesty.

I guess it's not thoughtful to post the truth about McCain.

Orrin Hatch on the opposition:

"These people are not conservatives. They're not Republicans," Hatch angrily responds. "They're radical libertarians and I'm doggone offended by it."

Then Hatch, a former boxer, turns combative. "I despise these people, and I'm not the guy you come in and dump on without getting punched in the mouth."

You never hear Hatch muster up that much violent hate for the socialists. They are all despicable power entitled/crazed statists!
