Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey plans to announce as early as Wednesday afternoon that she is charging neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation.

Preaching to the choir. About a week or two ago I battled the Martin/Zimmerman trolls for hours a day. It’s exasperating.
This may well be the last straw. It is a lynching, and not even of a white guy but an hispanic democrat.

From Crump’s mouth to God’s ear last night on O’Reilly (Laura Igraham substituting), he said they want him arrested, not convicted. Why not convicted? Because Florida law allows them to sue in civil court if he is merely arrested. They want to sue the HOA and city of Sanford.

Not if there is a majority black/jury. And the black panthers will be demanding a “fair” jury. Zimmerman will be found guilty for the same reason he is being indicted; because “white folks” is scared of “black folks.”

7. Girlfriend’s testimony that Treyvon felt he was being followed. Treyvon Treyvon turning on Martin, esp under FL law, is fine if he felt threatened.(Beating someone because they may be following you is ok in Florida?)

Juries are supposed to be UNfair. Unfair to the prosecution. The prosecution has the unfair burden of excluding EVERY reasonable doubt. all of them. If just one reasonable doubt out of 10,000 remains then the defendant MUST be found not guilty. period.
I guess the plan now is to charge him and then move to politically intimidating a jury to convict.

I think you are confusing the law with facts and justice.
For all we know, Zimmerman said something totally stupid to the authorities while trying to be “helpful”. That could be all they need to file charges. He hasn’t exactly been exhibiting the behavior of somebody cagily playing the legal game.
I agree that the “evidence” we’ve been presented with points toward self defense, but what we see and hear could be a lot different from what Corey has to work with.
What the law says and what’s just and right are often pretty different things.
