Tampa, Florida - It was an emotional interview for Michelle Williams.
As a community activist and chief of staff for the New Black Panther Party, Michelle is used to addressing many issues. But when it comes to her passion in the Trayvon Martin case, she get especially upset and tearful.
Through tears, she said, "If my words, my words that I had to say out of anger will make the American people address this issue, let it be my time, Melanie. Let it be my time to address this issue with America, that we say enough is enough. We can't have any more killings."
Michelle is now offering an apology for her controversial comments.
She spoke openly, "My words were out of anger. I did not incite, I did not promote, nor did I encourage anyone to go and pick up a gun."
In an online interview this week, Michelle Williams spoke openly of her frustration with what she calls the massive racial problem in this country, especially over the Trayvon Martin case. She admits that her sadness over the case was overwhelming and that she spoke harshly during the online segment.
Her words were not taken lightly and were replayed Tuesday morning by nationally syndicated radio talk show host Bubba the Love Sponge.
Michelle said during the interview, "Let me tell you, the things that's about to happen, to these honkeys, these crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these ---- people. It has been long overdue. My prize right now this evening ... is gonna be the bounty, the arrest, dead or alive, for George Zimmerman. You feel me?"

I am getting a bit nauseated listening to all these crocodile tears for Trayvon Martin. In the month since a Hispanic shot him, how many black 17 year-olds have been killed by black shooters? Where’s the outrage over those deaths? Are those deaths less significant because the killers were black? If that’s what the black community is saying, what does that say about black culture in America? Is it their position that blacks are naturally more homicidal so we can’t expect better from them? Do they really want to say out loud that a Hispanic or a white person should be expected to have more self control, self control that is beyond a black killer?

Actually, it's a real crime that she's worried about. Florida Code 876.36 states "If any person shall incite an insurrection or sedition amongst any portion or class of the population of this state, or shall attempt by writing, speaking, or by any other means to incite such insurrection or sedition, the person so offending shall be guilty of a felony of the second degree..."

Hosted primarily by Michelle Williams and Chawn Kweli, the New Black Panther’s chief of staff in Tampa and a national spokesman, respectively, the call was filled with violent, hate-filled speech outlining the party’s future plans. Words like “war, cracker, and blood” seemed to be the biggest “buzz words” in the conversation.

There are lots of moderate blacks. There are lots of conservative blacks. Most of them do stay quiet because if they speak up they are immediately ostracized.
